Oh, one thing I want to make clear to everyone right now: Please, if I ever start justifying massing/sabbing/phasing others, please quote this post and rub it in my face. One of the things I hate most about these MMORPGs is after a while the people on top get so used to winning that they start justifying crushing weaker players, as if they are doing the overall community a favor by taking out anyone who could possibly be a threat a few months in the future. They also seem to have a need to create an oversized alliance of clans for "defensive" purposes, that are always used to keep new clans from effectively forming. They also apparently develop telepathy, because another popular excuse is how they "know" the target was planning an imminent assault on someone twice their size. Trust me, the only reason I will be massing, sabbing, or phasing people is because I'm a sadistic !@#$%^&* who likes holding on to the #1 position and is willing to kick people down to hold on to it. If ever I say otherwise, please smack me with a getwithitstick.

I for one view it differently. There is clearly a sort of societal contract in which citizens are given rights but have to follow laws. Participating in a crime represents a failure to live up to the contract. The contract then becomes invalid and society no longer has an obligation to give you those rights. For example, prison sentences. Under normal cir!@#$%^&*stances, citizens have an inalienable right to freedom. Society has no right to put people in jail under normal cir!@#$%^&*stances. However, when the person has been found guilty of a crime, society is now under no obligation to uphold their normal rights. I am !@#$%^&*uming ofcourse matters of scale are upheld...obviously you don't give a life sentence for overdue library books. I'm a Christian too. While I do believe God is merciful, He also stands for justice as well. Mercy and Justice must be balanced, and I do not believe a life sentence can balance out some of the more heinous of crimes.

And one more suggestion: How about a "bank all" button so that if you are active and watching the countdown that you can bank your gold before somebody can attack you in the split second it takes to type the number in? Btw Ducky, welcome to Phasedville. Population: 3.

You shouldn't be able to attack people with a larger army size simply because they can't attack you. Suppose a small player happens to have better stats than a large player. Then, the small player would be able to attack the large one over and over and the large one would be able to do nothing about it. That being said, it should be based on rank, not size. Additionally, recon shouldn't be as risky as it is. If your covert is higher than their sentry, recon should be safe to do. If your covert is barely over their sentry, it should mean a poor report with a lot of holes, not a loss of troops. And sabotage is off too. It should be an alternative to attacking someone. There shouldn't be any random componant in the calculations. In the system I am used to, they balanced out sabotage nicely by having special "covert turns". Each sab used 3 turns and the overall turn cap was 50. That way, if you could sab someone, it didn't mean the destruction of their entire armory. Also, they removed the option to target specific weapons. Instead the spies did max damage and started with the weakest weapons and moved their way up...thus a player with poor sentry could protect his heaven helms by buying a lot of daggers. Doing all that is difficult, so what should be done here is simple: Remove the spontaneous random failure from the sabotage calculations. Make every sabotage attempt cost 20 turns. Apply the same size limits to sabotage as is applied to attack. Post the formula. Yes, there will be minimalists. Those people will save themselves about 20 spies per sab. However, without it no one is willing to attempt sabotage because it fails so !@#$%^&* often.

Oh, it works. You are lucky...I did phase out Syrus and Deathboy. The cap exists...though after phasing him our Deathboy attacked me, so I don't know to what extent it works. The art of not sleeping takes training to master. I had a boss one time...he routinely goes three days without sleep and worked at three different jobs...and does them all quite effectively without any signs of sleep depravation. He drinks so many energy drinks I swear when he gets cut he bleeds Red Bull. The secret is to take mini-naps while you are blinking.

I just remember about a year back some IAEA guy saying before the UN that Iran can't be trusted. Seems like they cleaned up their act in the meantime. But, as the report also clearly states, this string of cooperation is following a long history of keeping the IAEA in the dark.

Well, in the game I was used to, when somebody got attacked so much that he or she can't get attacked anymore, their account is shut down for a few hours during which time they can't attack and have limited income. Its usually unprofitable for the attacker, so its only reserved for the most mean and nasty situations. As I said, in the past couple hours I had to do it twice, which cost me enough money that you could move up past me.

Just guessing to be honest sama !@#$%^&* Veg, are you offering sexual favors for people to attack me or something? In other news...phasing doesn't seem to work.
-
Alright, compe!@#$%^&*ion over. Thank you all for making this a bad day for Ducky and Cancer. Since I specified that one most post your attacks here, the winner is Samapico with 60 turns. First runner up is rootbear. Prizes have been awarded. Thank you two for participating.

Point being...I started after you did Sama.

Extremist rabbis call for return of animal sacrifice
Aileron replied to 1587200's topic in General Discussion
Actually it ended the need for animal sacrifices (from the perspective of a Christian). Truth be told, if the Israelis wanted to even go as far as to convert the entire mosque back into a synagague they have a right to. They fought and bled for the territory they now occupy, much like the former owners who converted the building into a mosque in the first place. I'm just saying that if they wanted to convert the mosque, nothing could stop them from doing so. But, they decided to be enlighted and reasonable. They are being nice. Those protesting should take to note this, and give the Israeli authorities the credit they earned. They didn't convert the mosque into a synagague, so they shouldn't be treated as if they did. -
I know the prizes suck...they are symbolic more than anything. All I want is for ppl to do what Rootbear did...just give a headsup if you carryed out an attack so I know to reward you.

Way to take a joke seriously SeVeR.

Remember, I can see damage, but not attack logs...post your attacks here if you want them to count.

I think the rule is against advertising other zones. This is technically a forum. Besides, you can always ask their admins real nice...

I've decided to finace Rabbit Season in the FC Army system. The parameters are: There are two members of the Pink Fluffy Bunny Clan: Ducky and Cancer+ The time of this compe!@#$%^&*ion is from now until 10:30 PM EST 1,000 Gold per turn will be given to anyone who attacks the rabbits. * Additionally, as the weapons used by Elmer Fudd to kill the wabbit in the legendary Opera episode were a spear and a magic helmet, there are prizes to those who attack the rabbits with the most turns: Grand Prize: Heavens Helmet Second Place: Spear You can report your attacks by replying to this topic. Do NOT pm me. While this is mostly honor system...I will be performing regular recons and will know if you are making boldfaced lies. Liars will be added to the targets list. *I'll point out that it is 1K per turn...a 10 turn attack earns you 10k gold. I don't care if the attack is successful or not. I'm not paying for recons and sabs. I am not resposible if your prize money gets stolen. Now get out where and waste whose waskily wabbits!

After playing the entire day, I'm wondering...
Aileron replied to Ducky's topic in General Discussion
Nah, you were close but not quite there. By the way, after my attacks I figured out what I was doing wrong with sabotage...lets just say you shouldn't rely too much on those fancy helmets of yours now. Well, I have to go to school...I'm announcing that because sadly enough, there isn't an player on who is capable of successfully striking at me any time soon. I promise to host a little compe!@#$%^&*ion when I get back. -
If anything you could possibly be one of the !@#$%^&*ans of this forum...cast down and banished by the gods of the forum. Suicide_Run was always more dangerous than you were...he's even the most dangerous Forum Killer for long term war in the FC Army system.

Aileron replied to Ducky's topic in General Discussion
I know. I can only attack Suicide Run now. But frankly, with my income its not worth it for me to attack these 10-50k targets. As for attacking for personal matters, lets just say I have other resources I can rely on. -

Aileron replied to Ducky's topic in General Discussion
Alright...remember how I said that the sabotage fuction has been ridiculously nerfed? Well, it has been. I just spent some chump change in attempts to Sab Cancer. Here is his stats: Obviously, I have the ability to a clear recon of him, so my covert >> his sentry. My covert level is 9, his is 2. My spies were armed with cammo. He had one big candle. I spent my spies as many as 10 at a time. Discounting weapons, that is 10 * 2^(9-1) = 5120 versus his overall sentry bonus of 44. So, either Sabotage has been ridiculously nerfed or 44 > 5120 As for his betrayal...it seems that miraculous big candle of his has earned him a reprieve. -

The early bird gets the 9.6 mil. OOO...Cancer betrayed the build? That betrayal shall be...dealt with. -
Its a feature where one player can sign under another...sort of a master/apprentice thing. The master gets extra units while the apprentice gets gold and protection.

Well, either you are correct or just mad because of that 1.7 mil gold I took. I'd bet on correct...these type of RPGs can drive you crazy. Congrats btw.
