Education. Actually you should probably major in Education and Miner in Music, or better yet dual major in Education AND Music. That is ofcourse !@#$%^&*uming you have talent, and I mean a LOT of talent. Not "you were the best musician in your high school" talent but "You are one of the best musicians in the whole region you live in" type of talent. Don't think you can work your way through it with practice either. College is tough. Those will natural talent towards the activity have to work through it, and those without will find the workload impossible. Most countries in the world divide all majors into two catagories: Humanities and Sciences. Judging by the fact that you chose a humanity and a very pure humanity at that, I doubt you have interest or proficiency in the sciences. However, you shouldn't choose a major. Instead, choose a job, and then choose a major that puts you towards that job. A major in Music doesn't open up many opportunities other than education. If you wish to become a pop star, then note that most pop stars do not get music majors, atleast until their careers are actually rolling. If that's what you want, I suggest minoring in music and majoring in something else. If you wish to become a professor or symphony musician, keep in mind that you must be REALLY good. Odds are with a Music major you'll end up teaching music at a High School, which is why I suggest Education as a second major. However, this isn't the sort of question that you should be asking idiots over the internet. The college you go to most likely has an academic planning service, which you should exploit to the point of annoying the people who work there. Even if you choose the right major, odds are that you will choose the wrong courses, so get some help BEFORE you make mistakes.

Well, that question is backwards. With a Republic, the status of the populace causes the outcome of the election. I can easily see a woman taking the Presidency. African Americans will have difficulty though. In order to be elected President, the candidate must leave his or her minority status behind. The Presidency is a position of strength, not pity. The President cannot receive protection from the bigots and dictators of the world, because the President must live in the forefront in the conflict against said s!@#$%^&*. Also, the President cannot cater to once race. While there are 100 Senators and 400-something House members, there is only one President, and he or she must represent the will of the entire country, not just the agenda of their minority. That's why I don't see it happening for African Americans in the near future, because they just haven't been doing this in the political field. I swear I can't hear a public speech made by one that does not gripe about the hidden oppression they seem to be suffering. However, if such unconcious feelings are enough to hold the person back, how are they ever going to deal with someone like Ahmenijhad or PyongJung Ill, who have no compunctions at all about oppressing minorities and doing so openly? If they can't tolerate even the slightest insult now, how could they possibly take it when every foreign government, political opponant, and comedy show in the world is mocking them on a daily basis? Most of the African American Republicans can carry the mantle, but the liberals tend to whine about every inequality and sue anyone for every percieved insult. That can work for a spokesperson, but a President must be stronger than such things. Women can do fine as long as they aren't "the woman whose running for office". If she has a platform and character, than she can do it. As for what will happen to the US if such a person is elected? Not much. As I just wrote, the status of the populace determines who gets elected, not the other way around.

Actually, that decision was premature. First of all, people have been padding their ranks with mercs. Secondly, the biggest UP I've seen so far is , and the guy who has it doesn't have that many troops due to the fact that his casualties are about 40 every time someone attacks him. Third of all, second place is not bad. Its hard to hold on to first place for very long, the most you can expect is to hover around the top ranks. Unless ofcourse this was your excuse to quit honorably because its annoying to have to log on every so often, in which case that's a perfectly valid reason for quitting. Things seem to be slowing down now that everyone has run out of the turns that had been piling up since before reset.

The stronghold of Fort Eva, a famous structure belonging to attraction previously believed to be impenetrable, fell today under the onslaught of Ailestani forces. Commandoes began the assault by taking out some weapons installations and by securing several avenues of approach, which paved the way for regulars to move in later. The regulars were able to attack from both flanks, and took the fortress with minimal casualties. However, true to form, the attraction army looted their own fortress and fled like cowards, which meant only mediocre lootings for Ailestani forces. Instead, our forces found a disturbing amount of Final Fantasy fan art, susequently burned and sanitized. However, this assault set a strong message to the forces of Penis today, stating that while they can cannabalize their own forces and hide behind their walls, it will still not be enough to protect them from the wrath of the Ailestani Jariish. To commemorate our victory, the fortress has been renamed "Castle Pwnsthemall" and a statue of our dear leader Aileron has been placed at the site. In other news today, be on the lookout for counterfeit towels. These towels are believed to be Keiverish in origin and being smuggled alongside bacon from Falconia. Be sure to check for the seal which signifies that the towels have been properly taxed and blessed by the government. As for what's going on, there are about 20 or so active players, 15 of which are in the Penis faction. All players are capable of attacking anyone, though its against ettiquite to attack someone in your own faction. Essentially, attraction has just figured out that Penis is an oversized clan. Clans that are smaller than half the field tend to strengthen their members. However, at 3/4ths of the field, Penis clan stifles the growth of offense based players because it limits their list of targets. attraction is a first place contender, as am I. However, I have 15 targets I can choose from, and the offense to actually pull it off. He has about 5 available targets. If he followed ettiquite, he'd have a hard time trying to compete with me. Combined with the fact that he doesn't like several members of his clan, he's decided to betray his fellow clan members. His plan is that if the worst case scenario is that they kick him out of the clan, he then gets the huge list of targets. However, the flaw in this reasoning is that the worst-case scenario is not only getting kicked out of the clan but massed as well. Most good attacks are one-time deals that do low damage to both attacker and defender and designed to yield profit to the attacker. massing refers to when the attacker does not desire profit but rather damage to the defender. The goal here is to attack the person over and over, causing a lot of weapons damage and casualties to both attacker and defender. Really, this type of attack doesn't even require the attackers offense to beat the defenders defense...m!@#$%^&* attacks are all about attrition. If done correctly or with advantage of numbers, say...14 vs 1, the attacker(s) can maximize damage to the target while minimizing damage to himself. Its still somewhat costly, and usually reserved for when you have a good reason, like when someone betrays his clan-mates because he wants to be a big shot. Odds are that is probably what is going to happen if attraction keeps this up. He should have stuck with the defensive style that comes with his ship.

L0SA, life is a ranking system. All living beings must compete in order to survive, and the situation is rarely fair. I for one have little proficiency in the humanities. I didn't take the best English and art courses, and when I did I got bad marks despite working at it. In some cases, I enjoyed those classes, but generally sucked at them. However, I did well in the sciences, and chose a career in the sciences. In my case, the ranking system showed me where my strengths and weaknesses were. In many cases, just knowing your weaknesses solves the problem. I know I suck at art, so I avoided art classes like the plague in college. Besides, the consequences of having no ranking system in high school, and then having the students have to learn their rank the hard way in either college, trade school, or on the job is more painfull.

Money gain depends on rank, though pop looks to be lethargic this time around. You can't quite attack everyone, but pretty much. The size factor is 100. Its finite because in my experience infinite things tend to get abused, but its high enough that it shouldn't be much of a factor.

A solution to that is to force schools to have certain standards acrossed the board. Do that, and then a school has a vested interest in making sure atleast some students pass Over time, you could increase those standards until the school can't afford to give a hidden curriculum to any of their students. This is essentially the jist of the "No Child Left Behind Act". The biggest flaw with this act is that its the Brainchild of President Bush, and Bush decided to go into Iraq, so therefore everyone thinks that the educational plan must be a bad idea.

I would for one. The reason I haven't is that I don't have the personality traits of a soldier. For example most soldier form family bonds with their units. I don't form that kind of bond with anyone. Soldiers work as a team. I work alone. When a soldier fights, its to either build or protect something. When I fight, only do so to destroy things. I can't be a soldier, but if I was given a choice to fight in Iraq, I would. I'll identify this problem that is occuring with African Americans right here. Some are stopping to speak English and starting to speak Ebonics. These families have been in Amercan for centuries. Nowadays, they wouldn't be able to tell which country their ancestors were abducted from, let alone the traditions of the peoples of those countries as they were three centuries ago. They could go out of their effort to study those cultures, but in the end it will be as foreign to them as studying Chinese culture. The problem is that some of them wanted to bring forth their cultural roots and that their cultural roots are as American as those of white people. So, they tried to ignore their American culture and create their own. The problem with starting from scratch is that you make mistakes. In this case, they have made the mistake of allowing criminal behavior to be part of their culture. To some extent, growing up to become a drug dealer is the black man's equivolent to growing up to become an engineer. For instance, rap music. I am not citing this as a problem, but as a symptom. They have integrated a life of crime into their culture and have included it in their music. Sadly enough, no white man can solve this problem. Either they must either embrace their American heritage or they must create a culture that does not involve crime. Either way the status quo will not last too much longer.

Yes, that's why I recommend ignoring the "To Do List thread". Many things cannot be changed due to limited core settings. Infact, on the race selection screen there is a typo that says "Casualies" instead of "Casualties". The core is so limited that I can't even correct that typo.

The first one was supposed to be 40. The 50 UP upgrade was supposed to be 4,000,000. There was some technical difficulties, which I blame entirely on rootbear. To solve this the price of the 50 UP upgrade was changed to 10,000.

It won't be radically different from any other ship. It will only have high offense, sentry, and deduction. The difference will just be the degree. It will be something higher than 10%, though I'd expect about a 50%. Then it will have two special weapons instead of one. However, the important thing about the Nightwasp that I will emphasise right now is that I am intentionally not going to get into specifics at this point so as to leave the options open. Specifics will only be decided after we know what the battlefield looks like for the exact reason that attraction stated.

Price will double with each upgrade. Your question isn't really correct. It is not a matter of if a UP upgrade is worth it, but when a UP upgrade will be worth it. Your income increases as time goes on. !@#$%^&*uming your account is an island, eventually your income will be large enough to reach any figure, no matter your UP. In this case, the time it takes to profit from an upgrade is dependant upon its' cost. Basically, the time it takes to profit from a UP upgrade is the time it would take to earn enough money to buy the upgrade if your UP were 10. The income from this is I = 200 * 10 * t . The total money is the integral of this: T = 1000 * t^2. Thus, the amount of time for a UP upgrade to pay for itself and start yielding profit is: squareroot[ (Cost) / 1000 ] The first upgrade will be profitable after 90 hours. However, not all UP upgrades will yield profit within a month. I designed the system to be stable for about 6 months, so that I know that it will remain stable for the whole month. However, there are other factors. First off, weapons are retroactively efficient. Thus, you can get more strike per less points if you have more soldiers. Secondly there is a little fact that your account is not an island. Fighting happens and yields casualties. Casualties are based upon a figure of about .1% of your population, times a few other variables and a random factor. There are a few workarounds, such as buying mercs and training troops, and this is dependant upon how many people attack you besides. !@#$%^&*uming it is a flat .1%, and !@#$%^&*uming you get attacked hourly and you do nothing about it, your population will be limited by 1000 * UP. Any less and you gain more troops than you lose, any more and your UP can't keep up with your casualties. At UP 50 under such cir!@#$%^&*stances, you would be limited to 50,000 troops, which is nice but less than 60,000 troops. Usually this ceiling isn't important, because you would need to be pummeled by three different people who would in turn all be suffering the same casualties you do. Thus, don't take this arguement literally, but UP affects your recovery from hardcore massings, which can indeed happen because the phase limit was increased by A LOT. Also, UP won't protect you from others, because that ghey little rule about not attacking people three times you size has been changed to not attacking people 100 times your size.

Repair costs are the difference. I have put up detailed specifications on all the weapons in the "SS RPG Tutorial" topic. Defensive weapons are clones of offensive weapons. Offensive weapons come in two varieties, guns and bombs. Bombs are cheaper to buy. Guns are cheaper to repair. Additionally, a "shrapnel" weapon is added. These are really cheap to buy but flat out impossible to repair. These were added for those times you need a temporary stats boost to get over someone who has a razor thin lead over you. Finally, each ship has their own specials. The Warbird, Javelin, Spider, and Leviathon have weapons no other ship can use. However the Terrier, Weasel, Lancaster, and Shark have automatic upgrades on their guns and bombs. Terriers get cheaper double barrelled guns, Weasels get cheaper EMP bombs, Lancsters get more powerfull bouncing bombs, Sharks get more powerfull bouncing guns.

You get 10,000 points per post. One could hypothetically post a lot in order to get a lot of money. In practicality however, it is only day two and my income for one is 350,000, so over the long term worrying about 10,000 points is a waste of time. If you posted every thirty seconds, meaning 120 posts per hour, you could get 1,200,000 points per hour. However, not only would this get you banned very quickly, but this qua!@#$%^&*y will be insignificant within a week. The reason this is set up is that it requires people to post after a race reset. Thus, any process that involves routinely resetting, such as the cheat that occured last round, would involve posting after each reset. That would make this type of cheat impossible to hide. 10,000 is still quite a bit of points early on. However, at the start of the round, its good to have a lot of conversation happening in order for people to report bugs and to taunt each other.

Hmmm, well I wasn't losing any points either. I guess in this system commanders and officers means absolutely nothing. That must be why there aren't any settings options available.

The way it should work is commanders give money to officers, and officers give untrained soldiers to their commanders. Over the course of the month you are limited to 30 commander changes. Its practically unlimited unless you want to be gay. It also has come to my attention recently that the game does not give commanders an option to boot officers they don't want. If you have such a leech on you, pm me and I'll get rid of him. A new rule regarding commanders has been added. Sigh...the people who designed it didn't even give admins the ability to edit a member's commander. I guess, any further cases of people attaching to commanders who do not want them will result in loss of stats or a complete reset.
