Ok so here it is; Mom & PoLiX were added as billing ops because of the whole web site name theft situation. They are handling in game requests for name and squad restoration. Emailing them was done to get more information to work with than just in game messaging. They are not replacing the current system, they are an in game addon to the existing system. So either go to the website or e-mail one of them, either way is fine for now. As for Blue, he didn't quit SS, he is just stepping back from his duties in HZ, while doing this he has more time to handle Billing Op duties as he checks his e-mail often (damn iPhones). Anyways, hopes this helps Mav.

I'll address the Council with this and make sure it is "offcial", if it is offcial or not, I'll let you know. If this policy did change, it should be put out by a Council Member, but regardless I'll let you guys know.

not to get off topic but you would be best to add a "zone" and maybe a "squad" field as this forum is more of an overall subspace forum so it'd be nice to know what the players home zone is THEN their squad But to stay on topic, thanks to polix for helping us out and JOIN the tournament

I have restarted the subgame. That shoud fix the problem *for now* but it will happen again. I might replace that subgame when it happens again.

You can limit this to BanG lvl 1 ops if you like, but some kind of Biller Wide Alias System would help a lot. -===CHAT===- - Expand the chat # limit - Create Chat Owners. Able to kick/ban players from that chat -===NAMES===- - Limit the # of aliases per IP/MID -===SQUADS===- - Create Squad Co-Captains. Able to do everything squad related except dissolve the squad - Purge squads that hasn't had members log into CTM in over 2 years. - After the purge, automatically dissolve squads that hasn't had __% of members log into CTM (if the squad has 10 members, it is required that at least 3 members log into CTM within 2 years or the squad gets dissolved) -===ANTI-CHEATING/BANNING===- BanG might be about as good as we will get with security, but maybe more documentation available about BanG. I'm sure there are suggestions I missed but I kinda threw this together real quick.

Basically take some of catid's/other dev ops billers and give it access to the SSC Biller DB. You would have chat owners, squad co-captains (can do everything to a squad except dissolve it or kick the squad captain), etc. Its been a few years since I've played around other Billers, but I do remember these features being a part of them. Also an upgraded banning system/built in alias system for zone staff. As far as "starting over" with names/new DB..nah I'd pass on that. Although I would like to see a huge purge of squads/playernames. I think if a squad hasn't had a member log in within 2 years then the squad should be automatically dissolved and other players are able to take it.

There was a jail break in Afghanistan. Yes it wasn't in the US, but when has there ever been a large amount of terrorist held in a prison in the US? And I would never say somebody is overestimating the possibilities of a terrorist attack. Underestimating them is what leads to 9/11 all over again. I'm all for closing Gitmo, I'm just not for bringing them here.
