We have the experiance from Ireland, and other trouble some areas we keep a hush-hush at!@#$%^&*ude which works well with the population. They know we are their but we stay out of troubles way and basically watch over with a friendly eye unlike the Americans Gung-ho at!@#$%^&*ude to everything.

Just posting my views on these things, and Im not messed up, well not as far as I know In fact 'I dont suffer from insanity... I enjoy every minute of it...' yes... quite... anyway... lol And just for you to realise, no matter what you say, there is a racial hate in this world that has always been and I am willing to put ol' bet on it that there always will be, in fact I would claim pretty much every person out there has some sort of racial hate or anger towards another, Ive seen enough of it. Plus I feel I have a darned good reason to hate Iraq's without getting into my personal life thank you very much. And one more note; I dont try and be racist, but I couldnt care if that was labelled on me. Men, we British can handle the situation over there; thats why we have hardly lost anyone since we took over our parts of Iraq, but truthfully Ive got no care to what happened. Some people are like that; war does things to people mind, and hey, with the amount of Racial hate I have against people like those in Iraq I see nothing wrong with it in the sense they are getting something back, be it them or their friends that caused it. It has happened, and Iraq seems like a lost cause from the start. This reminds me of a certain quote someone once said, on TV infact... We only use it because we dont have another map to use which fits currently the 'gameplay' of 17th, but saying that, any map we uploaded wouldnt make a difference with the ships.

Sort of like the ?go Elemental map that was up (dont know if it still is) which had those 4 bases? That would prove interesting... and a diff change in each one would good, but then again that map reminds me of a mini version of SWR because of the tight-tight corridors.

Ill stand by Makas side on this till the en, I loved the settings that much compared to the crap we have today. -*BAD WORD*- 17th was what KEPT me in Continuum after coming from Infantry, but do what you want, in my eyes 17th is about to die because the settings wont be coming back so there seems no point in arguing about this anymore. The 17th as we knew it is gone, and this new supposedly 'improved' version is here... hopefully for not much longer, and we get at least somethingthing partially good and maybe a good map to!? Although this argument is falling on deaf ears. Rest in peace ya old 17th settings $

The current weasel was a weakness against nothing except maybe one thing; the levi. Especially in the hands of a lagger player it can become unstoppable but that was said from the start of it being made small so whatever.

Switch the map around so its like the oldie map so we have north and south bases again At the moment north base it too large and useless. If you are wanting to put flags somewhere, put them in east and west like was done before. This increased the amount of basing and soccer playing by ALOT on that freaky friday because the flags were easy to get and maintain Soccer wise... well im unsure. To me its boring as -*BAD WORD*- because I can get from one side of the arena to the other, in base, around all obstacles and score within 60 seconds (in a fast ship like a shark) without dropping the ball once. If things like that can be achieved, then its fair to say, the map either really sucks, or the game play does. Get a new map which is harder to master and more fun to play, throw in the soccer game because 17th is the only place with the best soccer for me because things like Hockey zone suck butt, sprinkle a few flags in each base in suitable places, then adjust the ship settings to the map in a sensible and according fashion. Also, really if your going to change the ship settings, as much as I REALLY hate the jav, dont change it, its fine for its cause. Put the old lancaster back; that was a true defination of that ship and really makes it the ship it SHOULD be, and turn the weasel into the weasel from ?go 2v2. A fast paced fighter to compete with the javelin and yet has different weaknesses to the javelin keeping that original effect.

Im against that statement that staff is lazy. Not all of us are, but certain problems do cause not all of us to be able to host leagues etc, but generally as a whole, without causing too much plight, I do agree with Blue. Its this simple; new settings are getting extremly boring, the map is well past its sell-by-date, and there is a decrease in population, especially playing pub because of this problem. Sort the sets out, sort the map out, make a completly new public if you have to, but do something now before 17th hits past the limit from which it cant recover from!
