Someone's been reading right-wing blogs again... Anyway, I wouldn't care if Obama had put every single one of the troops he removed from Iraq into Afghanistan. It's not a matter of which war was popular and which wasn't, it's the fact that one war was ILLEGAL and the other wasn't.

What was secret about it? Iran told the IAEA about their facility a long time before they needed to. "there were no international requirements to declare any nuclear facility until 180 days before fissile material was introduced into it." Oh... so this is like Jesus. Aileron, if a government you disagree with sends people to their deaths whilst telling you that they are doing it to protect you, then that makes them right? You suddenly have to agree with them do you? You suddenly have to believe the soldiers are dying for a real purpose do you?... Even if it's more painful to believe they are not dying for a purpose. Iran looks more like the innocent party to me. They can use whatever currency they wish, and it's probably fairer to use a currency(s) that benefits more countries. They have also done nothing wrong with their new enrichment facility, and haven't enriched any weapons grade material whatsoever. They are complying with the IAEA and are innocent. America on the other hand threatens, bullies, spreads propaganda, and seeks to legitimise it by relying on their power over everyone else. To be honest I don't know how much of this comes from the government or just from the right-wing media in America. We all know that Murdoch would do the propaganda side of things regardless of who is President, and how much political power he has I don't know. I hope Obama will repair ties with Iran/Cuba/Venezuela/Russia in the way he has promised.

It since emerged that Iran hadn't concealed anything and were the ones telling the world about this facility; in fact they were telling the IAEA about it a year sooner than they needed to by international law. It was probably another effort by America to use the media to garner support for military action, or simply to remind Iran "don't piss us off". Completely illegal action by America again, but it's hard to prosecute!

1. They were doing it to get the prize publicity. 2. This cheapens the whole thing and makes it worthless. 3. I'm sure Obama wants to do something worthy of the prize, and the committee should have waited until he had done that.

It's bloody stupid to call someone religious if they don't believe in something. You could just create any answer for any question and if someone doesn't have faith in it then they're religious. So no, it doesn't work that way. You don't have to be certain of the opposite belief in order to criticise a belief! Religion = faith = certainty. If you believe that God definitely doesn't exist then you're religious. If you believe that Christians are stupid for saying God definitely does exist then that doesn't mean you're religious.

You have to consider the times that other zones play their league matches now.

what amuses me is that the people who are most against drugs are the conservative types who talk about freedom and less government and libertarianism and so on, and all the while they are against letting people do what they want with their own bodies, and it's all because they've been indoctrinated that way by fat-cat conservatives who make a fortune from the utterly corrupt "war on drugs". All Obama needs to do is come out and say Israel is in breach of UN resolutions by building settlements on Palestinian land, and that unless they destroy their settlements they should expect action from the United States and other UN governments. This is the right thing to do and would do a world of good in generating Islamic trust.

It would work for small games because the base can be defended 1v1, but it's big enough to allow larger games. It will focus the fighting into one space, which will hopefully make small games more intense/fun. The small corridors are not the "main" corridors. There are also 2 spots on each side for attackers to come in and bomb the defenders. It's going to look like DSB because you want one base that is the centre of attention. The base had to be bigger than what is currently in 17th because it would be uninteresting otherwise. The game on this map is different enough with teams spawned on opposite sides, with the goal as the principle objective. Having said that, most active 17th'ers play DSB now. Them and our DSB neighbours are our prime audience. With this map it would also be really fun to have a jackpot timer upon capture of all 4 flags. I don't know if it's worth me tiling it when i find the time because i haven't heard anything from you. Personally, i think this map would be way more fun, and would actually work in a small pub for building population.

OK i think i got an idea. It would tick all your boxes but it would involve a bigger centre base and would remove most/all the centre walls, but i think that is necessary tbh. Seeing as I'm in bed with a strained back I'll have a go at making it now. It might not be tiled in a nice way, but that can be done later, i'd rather get the structure right.

As a reader of history I am wary of anything that reminds me of the Nazis.
