Great, now AVG is reporting that it's finding the Luhe.Ramnit-corrupted virus in system restore... Possibly because I reinstalled continuum... I dunno. I might just turn this bloody thing off, it's a real pain.

I got the same thing today with my AVG. I uninstalled continuum and reinstalled from getcontinuum.com and same problem. Now I can't even open the executable. I get the error message: "Windows cannot access the specified device, path or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item"

I got that email, what a joke. They're milking this campaign to get a salary by setting up a needless organisation and asking for donations. If it the bill comes back we can do this again, but until then no-one needs to donate anything! Trust Americans to sell out their morals for a buck. If you do it in your head you get 50 because you do the first calculation first. If you use a spreadsheet, code, or think in terms of code because that's what you're used to, then 30, because multiplication is done first. Also, it's idiotic to care about post-count, but it takes a special kind of idiot to care about other people's post-count.

Can we just get a lottery winner or a wealthy person to put a 20k into developing this? There must be someone rich enough out there to sort this out. Even then, would any of the sysops in this zone submit to someone wanting to do that? They'll be more concerned about losing their power, even if that power is dissipating to nothingness.

The purpose 90% of the time I have played TW pub is to capture the flag and defend it. Very rarely does everyone ignore the flag and mindlessly fly around shooting people, although I left around the time TW introduced rewards for sprees, which was damaging the flagging game a lot. Maybe the pub arena has no purpose now, I don't know because I gave up TW then.

Well then, first I suggest we decide the name that this game will always be known by. I understand subspace cannot be used fully due to being the VIE original name? That means Continuum should be, as it's what we already know. Any future clients can be called whatever they want as long as they acknowledge the game is called Continuum; the splash screen says Continuum, the menu title says Continuum, but somewhere it can say "The client for Continuum". Otherwise this confusion will continue and get worse each time we have a new client. Or, you could acknowledge clearly in the client that the game is called Subspace, and/or put a page title on the forum that acknowledges the Client name. You could call this forum "Continuum forums" and still use subspace.co, and it would show up in google as continuum forums.

Hah thanks, 28-12 in favour of continuing the confusion, no wonder this game is dying, too many people stuck in the past, too many who can't remember what it's like to be a new player to a game. People who play a game called Continuum won't come to a forum called Subspace Forums. They don't know 15 years of history, and don't want to. They'll look in google results for a Continuum forum not a Subspace forum. Call it what it is! Even if you use a subspace web address, at least change the page title to continuum forums... I don't study Marketing, but even I can see you should name your site what it is rather than what it used to be. It's like making a book about Russia and calling it "The U.S.S.R. and its seaside resorts".

The game is called Continuum! The word subspace is only relevant to people who played the game years ago. When I saw you advocating subspace.co I almost screamed out loud. Are you trying to confuse new players on purpose? Ditch the word subspace from everything. It's called Continuum now. I mean seriously... wth, I don't understand why you want to keep the subspace name at all, I thought you were doing it here because you hadn't bothered to change the name yet.

When will the change happen? Was it was on the west coast before? Will this mean less lag for Europeans?
