Why is Continuum Population rate going down?
i88gerbils replied to Hitec's topic in General Discussion
!@#$%^&*. I've had this idea for the past year and a half. No energy to implement it. I was just thinking of making a post explaining my ideas and letting someone run with it. Also NS rules. -
Thanks for your service Swift.
-
A better idea is to bring back weekly events and have them billing announced.

Canadian beer sucks.

Oooh, a convention. Can I chair the committee on forum posting?
-
I liked AU and Docomo. But you don't seem to have them in the poll. There really shouldn't be any winner among these choices. American Cellphone companies are the worst.
-
He can't run those if his PC isn't the one routing traffic...
-
Sure. Note: if your roommate isn't stupid, then he may figure things out if you permanently block him. The idea is to filter him out at certain times of day and then blame his computer or whatever he's connecting to. However, you will want to have some ports open such as so that he can browse the web just fine. This will piss him off to no end. You may also want to enable static DHCP if it is not enabled already.
-
While you cannot filter based off of speed on any of the cable/dsl routers out there you can do some filtering with DLink. About a year ago I noticed that my roommate was hogging up MY bandwidth, and gosh darnit I didn't want to lag as much in games (I paid for it). He was torrenting. So what I did was setup a firewall option under DLink's firewall settings to ONLY allow him access to bittorrent when I wouldn't be needing the connection. The result was that he was utterly confused. He was complaining that it took so long to download at times, but he couldn't figure it out because it *would* eventually get going. Whenever he'd asked I'd just shrug and say that perhaps that seeder wasn't uploading to him, and he'd blame it on the seeder. ;-)

I used version .038 or something after I baited some poor sap to release what he had on the BS IZ forums. However, it was a piece of !@#$%^&*. I never really bothered with it for that long.
-
So you agree with using illegitimate means to get rid of people? That's kind of sad.
-
What? I'm completely confused.
-
No I prefer that he did release what he does know. That way we all can learn what the !@#$%^&* Death+ is trying to pull here.
-
And it needs to be pointed out as much as possible so people can see what kind of crap is going on here. Notice how Death+ has rarely posted. He's trying to hide. I think now that it's been seen that neither Agurus nor Confess have behaved in the manner that they were accused of doing there is no !@#$%^&*ing reason why SSC should have banned SST from their directory server. It's no different from me putting up Warzone, Chaos, or any SVS zone because they still had a right to the settings/concept. I'm going to ask again whether there is another directory server available. No SSC directory server should be advertised or used until this situation is rectified. If you're a zone owner, please remove sscentral.sscuservers.net and any redirect from your zone settings.
-
Correction: dgus created Trench Wars, but silentdragon created the map that became so popular. And then he got banned from playing on his own map. Also Ghost Ship is a !@#$%^&* who doesn't believe in communicating with others. Until he comes out and refutes me I'll stand by my word and will be right of course since he isn't communicating.
-
Actually, you had a choice: stop playing in a zone where you believe a sysop is dishonest. I like how these server hosts have taken the role as Blackie in determining their vangels for "their zones". Right now I'd be scared to be a SSC sysop hosted on SSCI, SSCU, or Ghost Ship's servers. It used to be that a zone was free to move if they so choose, but this seems to be restricted. Sad. I wish I could write more, but I'm too tired.
-
Agurus. You should welcome yourself to the few who have been banned from their own zones/maps such as silentdragon and TheGhostShip (not GS). Sucks doesn't it?
-
Interesting. Well if Agurus did have some right to that zone, then he has every right to host it somewhere else separately. "Stolen zone" is a bull!@#$%^&* excuse Ghost Ship. That's a precedent that I have not seen the SSC billing pull yet. This extends the rule of not having a copy zone on the SSC to the entire SubSpace directory list. I guess we can call it the SSC Directory now too. First they coded "protection" against non-SSC zones. Then they had that god !@#$%^&* awful copy zone rule, which never made any sense anyway. And now this. Good !@#$%^&*ing game. So is there an independent directory server still?

WoW sucks, play Eve.

I find it silly that schitt seems to be compared to sage386 in terms of sekrat SSC communications and deliberation.
-
So the logs would then prove that Schitt did in fact had a motive to threaten SSC security? Cause apparently that doesn't seem to be the whole story from some people.
-
Okay, the SSC has had enough time. What was the resolution of this matter?

You've become Minibar Warship!
