    That's hilariously bad. Imagine if I rated someone as bad and you rated someone as good, does that make them average? No, it means nothing at all, it's useless.

    No? Who would do the ratings, you? You are not objective, and no human is. If your concern is "byp!@#$%^&*ing" the machine, then let them, they're going to have to cripple themselves to do it.

    Team balancers are never based on skill level, only on objective power potential, which is why most balancers treat 1 person the same as any other. However because of this zone that's not realistic. A team might still be uneven even if the objective "ratings" were equal, but at least it would be a fairish game.

    Y'all need to remember something, and that is what shark is good at (unique traits) - It is small - It has good base energy for its size - It has the best base recharge in the game, plus the best recharge per energy And now let's remember what other ships are good at - Equipping signature items - Equipping capacity items - Equipping l3 guns - Equipping l2-l3 bombs - Equipping a whole bunch of other items labeled for not ship 8 - Having either guns/bombs not move at the speed of SLOW It may or may not be the case that one set makes up for the other, but so what? Sharks are going to be popular in any case, they already have the WEAKEST offense of any ship, but in a basing game that doesn't really matter because no one seems to know how to fire weapons at them until they die. Shark is going to be the odd ship out (or in?) just because it doesn't follow the same rules the other ships do, and for that there is no simple solution to fix whatever is broken, though I'm not sure everyone agrees anything is really broken? P.S. Sharpflame, you are still terrible at this stuff, your at!@#$%^&*ude shows as much. Any random toying of the num pad by me would yield better results than you would obtain while trying.

  8. I have a full ship and I'm still boycotting. It's just not a meaningful use of time. You know what? We already have a dueling tournament like this. It's called playing in center in public, except that's more interesting.
  9. That's bogus, we can do stock ships and limited customization with little effort at all, let alone waiting on the hscore rewrite to be done.

I thought the point of joining a squad was to play with a team, not sit out while your team plays. Great idea!     No one's making you keep X-radar on all of the time. No one's making you stand near your mine fields. Let's not forget that if a shark repels a minefield he decloaks and then you can flood the corridor. MC: you mean when you touch it.

  17. Public ships should never be used out of public. Either use stock ships or give people a new set of ships with a spending limit.

    Not to mention other people being too dumb to have x-radar (or create alternative barriers to cloaking like minefields/floodlines) isn't really a problem about sharks.
  19. Pub ships used in a tournament? Terrible. Go with stock ships to make it meaningful and worthwhile.

    The main problem is that terrier and spider get a very similar selection of equipment. The extra energy on spider is nice but ultimately cancelled out by its larger size, slightly lower recharge, and harder maneuverability. Still, it's not terrible, but middle ships will be more popular obv.

    1) There is a bug which presently makes greens useless at certain times (but you will still receive the prize for the current life if it is a standard item, regardless.) 2) The capacity items are as such: you can buy up to two batteries, or one "Extra" item.

    Recall that repels, bursts, and thors are consumables just like guns and bombs.

    There's nothing saying that all ships have to be used equally. Since all ships are used by some people, that is already amazing (since this had not been the case previously), it's hardly surprising "middle" ships like terrier are used a lot and even less of a surprise that ships that are hard to hit (by most people with their horrible aim) are used a lot. You can't really change the fact that Weasel is very effective when used correctly (you have double-bounce bombs, use them), but not everyone is good enough to do that. Changing ships to be effective based for the lowest level of skill is how you get the old superburstcyclone Weasel.

    YA IT'S THE SERVER Never mind the fact that your computer is terrible and can't load a graphic-intensive zone like HS and never mind the fact that HS has real lag limits unlike most zones and never mind that wireless makes you lag also
