The never-ending debate... When the old map, old sets (slow one-hit-kill weasel) were up, people wanted the more recent map/shipset, and now people want it back to the older one...

I use only 2 partitions... it's better to wipe out installed programs and games when you format anyway, usually they're the ones messing with your stuff

And then a few hours of sorting and copying stuff for backup Then reformat Then reinstall OS (that is, if you don't need to put it back in the other computer for that) Then another hour or so of copying stuff back Then 15 minutes to replug the disk in the original computer And all that just because you couldn't think of a viable disk space ratio for your partitions

I just installed MW4: Mercenaries... The game loads fine, plays the intro animations fine, then I get to the Pilot selection screen, I hit 'new', then as soon as I mouse-over one of the 4 factions, instant freeze... no 'crash', but total freeze, can't alt-tab out, have to ctrl-alt-del. Basically it should play some small .avi file at that point... I checked in the folders, the avi's are there (it gives an error if they are not, anyway), and I can play them fine. I only found 2 topics on the internet about this crash, one without solution, and the other suggested to make sure you have the codec and try k-lite codec pack. I already have that codec pack, and I can play the videos in any media player I have installed. Edit: Found another one with a (clueless) suggestion, saying 'try it in compatibility mode'. The game can't even run in compatibility mode because it requires DirectX 8, and it gives an error saying I have Direct X 7 in compatibility mode. HELP MEEEEEEEEE, GAAAHH%!%!%!! And are there any GOOD forums about games where I could get help? Every place I check seem to only have posts from years ago, or only talk about the latest CoD game.

I think trying to keep people alive no matter what for as long as possible is insane. Of course don't make it so anyone has the 'right' to have someone end their life... That would be crazy. But people who are obviously dependent on medical instruments and can't do anything on their own, and have no chance whatsoever of ever recovering, they should have the right to choose to keep going or not. However, one issue that could appear is if the patient is not even able to make the decision... can the family take the decision for that person? Could get tricky...
