  1. Maybe it's the zone itself that changed IP adress... so, as I just answered to _InFinSible_ on the other topic, try to redownload the zones list. To do so, click on the ZONES button on continuum's main screen, then click the Download button. If that doesn't solve the problem... - Is it the only zone you have problem with? Or all SSC zones? Or all zones? - You could also try to do a 'TRACE' to the zone
  2. Usually you get that message once and if you retry, it connects properly. If you always get the message, maybe the zone doesn't exist or has moved ; try to redownload the zones list (click on zones, then click the download button).

  5. This forums ownz... uh... what's wrong with that???
  6. maybe... desactivate those firewalls instead of shutting them down with ctrl+alt+tab? ... ending a task is never the best way to shut down a program
  7. I remember also having the problem using C-## and that it worked fine without the - ... BUT without the - it's not the good coordinate...
  8. (Do you realise we're getting drunk in a topic originally about travelling in time???? )
  9. :syrus: <<< drunk
  10. no yes yes that's the y coordinate default is +, you only have to specify - e is relative to the bottom of the energy bar <3
  11. hmm... maybe i'm wrong, but I think you can sort the processes by name/CPU usage/other things if you click on the column's !@#$%^&*le... if you sort them by name, continuum should stop jumping up and down the list, therefore making it easier to end the task? I'm not sure if you can do that with your OS tho.. I'm on a win2000 system at the moment... But.. is it jumping up and down the list or disappearing and reappearing in the list?? ...
  12. but... what if the crazy nut got transported into a parallel universe while travelling back into time, therefore screwing up that other universe instead of us... that would explain why we're still here.... and... emm... oh screw it.. let's just get drunk... *gives greased a cold canadian beer*
  13. me? from US? wtf? ... I don't want to!
  14. You should actually leave the 'c-50' there and add the comma... c-50,e25,image0,afterships,enterarena,1500,0 ... and.. emm.. just wondering, what's with 'e25' ??? Is that the Y coordinate? shouldn't it have a + or - ?? And what is 'e' relative to?
  15. hmm.. first of all.. here's the love ... but it isn't for you second, no you're not.
  16. but...... why .6 ? why is it always at .6? 2 ppl with the same problem... why not .7 or .5? ... OMG.. IT'S ... IT'S... TEH ALIEENNHZZZ!!! :syrus: IT'S THEM!! GO H1DE URSELF! FAST! :jules: :jules: :jules: :jules: :jules:

  23. I feel loved ... I consider Manus, Wabbit, Locutus Borg as good lancs.. DKR too of course, but he left, so pwah
  24. YEAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!! IT WORKS!!! The problem was the long blue cable... the connectors were not correct... The stupid guy at the store didn't even test it when he made it... and he had the thingy to do it... sigh.. We returned the cable and they made us another (they tested it after making it this time... it took 3 or 4 tries to get a working cable lol, they suck) and now it works fine What is weird is that the router's light was normal... but it probably just detects one or two out of the 8 conductors of the wire ... so there probably was just one pin that was too deep in the connector so wasn't making contact... anyway........ ........... But now, ANOTHER problem shows up... both comps can connect to internet no problem but... comp#1 cannot see comp#2 in the workgroup comp#2 sees comp#1 in the workgroup, but is given an error when trying to access it (missing authorizations) we had the exact same problem when trying to connect comp#1 and my friend's comp... so I'm guessing the configuration problem must be on comp#1. how to give those authorizations to comp#2 to access #1 ? I'm not sure if ZoneAlarm was on or not at the moment of the test, I'll have to try again tomorrow with ZA off... erm I won't be here tomorrow.. so.. emm... sunday probably... or maybe later.. dunno But I don't think it would be the problem because on the previous attempt while connecting comp#1 to my friend's comp, we've put down the firewalls and it was the same problem, so I'm pretty sure the problem's not there. I heard somewhere that it is needed to have on both computers the same account name with the same password... Is it true? If so, does it have to be all the accounts? do you have to be logged in a duplicate account? .. The 'guest' accounts are activated on both machines.. heard it could be needed too.
