  1. If you know your way through Windows, go with XP. Friend of mine had Vista preinstalled on his laptop, and he'll be reformatting soon to put XP. He liked Vista for a while, but whenever he wanted to install a program or a game, tons of googling, patching, tweaking was necessary to get it running; and more than once he couldn't even get it to run either. The worse is if you like playing slightly old games... forget it. Some people say Vista eat up all your RAM blahblahblah... yes it uses far more memory, but it handles it much more efficiently too. Basically, unused RAM is wasted RAM, right? Don't buy that pro-XP argument.
  2. 1/4 rhum 3/4 coke
  3. Root beer. Unless the fountain starts making weird noises of air/water bubbles, then maybe I'll put in some orange soda or something.
  4. Hyperspace has a slightly larger jav I think
  5. I bet 5 HS$ they'll announce the end of the world in 2012 by a massive asteroid. WE'RE DOOMED PACK UR STUFF, WE'RE GOING TO HAWAII ... Hawaii looks like a fun place to die. ... I'm not even sure if I have 5 HS$ ... I think some dude gave me a bunch for no particular reason... or were those DS credits... anyway. Oh, I bet 5 points from the casino thingy.
  6. milk cause it's cheaper, and once you start paying for your food and have to walk/ride a bike to the grocery, you DON'T WANT to get chocolate milk. It takes room and is unpractical in terms of cookiness. I wonder what pancakes would taste if you used chocolate milk instead of milk in the mix... hmm... well I guess it would taste chocolate, but would it work? hmmmmmmm !@#$%^&* coffee, it tastes like ... it tastes like coffee, which tastes like what I assume !@#$%^&* would taste. Only way I would drink coffee is these coffee drinks with alcohol and stuff. pancakes or waffles
  7. soda fountains take bills? since when? are you using this type of fountain? http://www.openrussia.ru/imgs/products/logos/3388.jpg wuuuuuut, this stuff is free in some places? ... I knew of some places that let you refill for free (aka you buy a drink NOW and can refill during your meal... not 24/7)
  8. What sucks about spam, is that the reason why you get spam is due to your friends getting viruses and getting their contacts list... in part, atleast. So... if you don't have friends and don't go to porn sites, you shouldn't get spam but who wants that? ... who would sacrifice porn for this? I wouldn't.
  9. portal doesn't have any delay...oh wait... after having warped... right
  10. If you know what you're doing, AVG is the way to go... it's not intrusive at all, but catches trojans when you try to get a crack or something. The free anti-virus work well. If you really want the firewall and all the crap, AVG Internet Security isn't (legally) free
  11. skittles. because. hot-dogs or hamburgers
  12. Even sadder is that a fountain drink costs them like 5 cents.
  13. Yes, duh... I was in spec and turned chat off for a nicer view
  14. no hax needed, just ?buy pwnage
  15. Nope... we had several people. Kind of like this unscheduled peak

  17. 0.91$ / 53oz = 0,017169 $/oz 1.39$ / 64oz = 0,02171875 $/oz
  18. what the !@#$%^&*... 0.91 for 53oz DUH did you even make the division? Be rich the lazy way by winning a jackpot, or be rich from working hard most of your life
  19. You obviously never reached level 9
  20. dunno... this thing wasn't planned at all
  21. faxes are the least of my concerns, really
  22. I'm searching for a pc-based answering machine for my phone... Did anyone ever get to use one? By the way, Skype is one-way only here still, so that's not an option. People wouldn't be able to call me. However... There was that program that said you could get a free voicemail number, but according to the reviews it was a virus, so... But if such a program really exists, combined with Skype it would be a nice alternative. But for now, just an answering machine will do Integrated faxing functions could be nice too Best would be an open-source project of this kind of thing... A tutorial on how to create such a program would be neat too I also notice a lot of programs that have features related to the Caller ID... but I guess these features require the Caller ID service from the phone service provider, right? Cause of course, they never say that in the program description
  23. Controls should be closely related to ?commands too... Maybe in the same category, or something. Or have a 'see also:' at the end, like some wiki articles.
  24. Hmm... I think the navbar should link to the download pages, not the file directly. It would make them familiar with the site in question, and they would be likely to click some other links around and learn stuff. Or maybe not, I think it's really a personal preference, but both ways are fine I guess.
