    It's likely something on your computer blocking Continuum from running. Whether it be a virus scanner, a firewall, an anti-spyware program, or anything else. You're probably not going to locate the problem. It seems like you really want to play. Therefore, the best and easiest thing to do is to backup your files and:

    There's no use in arguing about a week long network ban anyway. By the time the SSC Admins read your request, the ban will have already expired.

    I have no idea what this "Microsoft Xbox 360 Crossfire PC Peripheral thing" is.. So, I can't say if I'd prefer it over a 2D space game.

    I'm against anything that isn't IPB. I know it has it's issues, but I think it's easy to use and has nice features. It also looks the best... vBulletin is ugly. I'm also with Syrus on this one. I've never seen the ACP of a vBulletin, so it'd be hard to judge from an administrator's standpoint.

    Yeah, but he just said no. That's easily fixed by alt+tabbing again, which is not the case. No, I used to have this exact problem. It wouldn't let me alt tab back into full screen. I'd have to exit the program completely and restart it. Incomplete: You should single out programs one-by-one until you figure out which program is making this happen.

    If your wireless card needs software and you disable WZC, it won't fix anything, unless you have the software on. Anyways, I could have used this information a few months ago. Who knows, maybe it'll help someone else.

    That usually happens if you alt tab on the entering arena screen. Maybe something is opening behind Continuum and not letting it full screen?

    HOW are you posting here if you can't get to any websites? This IS a website. Are you using a different computer?

    Reformat your computer. Problem solved.

    Basically, it means that there is a bad switch somewhere between you and the server. There's really nothing you can do about it.. other than hoping it goes away.

    From what I understood, some people had this problem after trying 'Run as...' to fix the 'Continuum not starting' bug... You're right. Cancer+ is a little misinformed.

    It tells me that if I try to use a resolution on my video card that my monitor doesn't support. If you have an ATi video card: Download the Catalyst Control Center application from ati.com, or, if you already have it, restore to defaults. but before you try any of that, do what rootbear75 said.
