Todd Howard, the guy who hate PCs, games, fallout fans, spears and doesn't have a jack !@#$%^&* clue in RPG has said Fallout 3 will be a first person (shooter). He has also said that the game will have fairly sequential plot course, meaning you get to sit in a roller coaster cart and the little ruby on rails takes you whereever they tell it to, in a linear manner. I know blind io stepped down from chaos smod and retired...maybe a decade ago or something, so many years flew by that I really don't remember anymore. The only SSCons that counted were in VIE.

Medrona Park (precursor to Infopop) used to rule the market with UBB. And back in the day, hosting was much more expensive and not all hosts supported SQL and perl, php, et cetera (which nowdays is more than a given) at economically viable prices to private users. With UBB being simple CGI, which was always present at basic packages, and its DB being stored as ASCII it was the prefered choice over those which required SQL. But they've lost it decades ago. The so called uBB.threads (wwwthreads forum software which they aquired), which I never liked, was a crappy POS. And the old UBB renamed to uBB.classic was being licensed at rates which didn't come to terms with its outdated service, which was now being surp!@#$%^&*ed by far by the likes of phpBB. Lets not even mention all the security flaws... IPB stracture is also a nightmare. Ironically, most forum softwares are sophisticated enough as to have their forum DB converted to IPB, but to convert from IPB to another forum creates a host of trouble.

Well, how about instead you have Polix set sshistory.sscentral.com and then you won't need to depend upon a third party source, which just happened to be the land of GHEY, to describe the and reference game's history? Since every god !@#$%^&* newbie in this game wants to rewrite the history in their own image, anyway... Or, alternatively, you can pull a rabbit out of the hat. I believe Hoch can help with the phrasing. How the !@#$%^&* are you supposed to reference a niche online game that when it was around there was barely any Internet and since then 99% of the websites which supported it ceased to exist? !@#$%^&*, even web.archive.org purged most of the pages from that period of time. We're lucky enough to have enough vets around to even remember the game's original creators.

Conclusion of this B+ thread: SubSpace is full of corrupt, immature, amatuer, unrecognized, no-name, post-vie newbie, abusive, staff. Said staff can do whatever it wants and get away with it if their zone is considered high enough in the hirarchy that none will touch it. This is especially true when there are very few bangops around, bangops willing to enforce the ever-more-lacking virtues in SubSpace or bangops who go abscent for god knows how long. And it goes without mentioning that, if the Staff likes you then you can get away with a lot of !@#$%^&* and if they don't then you get banned for simplest of !@#$%^&*.

The lot of the masses of the dumb ASSS that roam this game could also benefit from reading the main Richard Garriott feature as well. I love that man. He believes in instilling values through games. Something many people, especially here, could learn about. My prime, ever, criticsm about SS or rather its community's handling be the stench from the lack of morals within it.

Giving the vast dissonant nature and dynamic state of "SubSpace", running (even the main/left over) website of SS is debateable as to whether or not it turns someone onto a leader of the SS community. At the very most minutia it is required to lead and have those who are being led.

I've always mintained that BBGs are the sauce of gay. I've yet to change this perspective. The only reason I touched SS RPG was because it was on a SS forum with SS thematic, and half the players were asleep or whatever and I was owning bad !@#$%^&* fast.
