bps had a !@#$%^&*ty pop last sunday when it ran right after jwl, there wernt enough registered players to take part so tex had to open it up to everyone... doesnt seem to be an advantage to me

Right now i think the leagues are too close together.. sunday at 8pm (gmt) is jwl, then bps+bss if they are on, starting at about 9pm/later for both apart from this making the leagues end at 10/11pm gmt (later in the rest of europe) it also pushes all the leagues together to the same 3 hour period on one day supposedly this is because it is the peak time but surely if the leagues were spread out the pop would move to follow them... apart from anything else this would allow those who cannot be totally sure when they can come online/have no access to the internet at this time to take part in more leagues finally how about some more pub leagues... what about the old ?go league i loved that thing, or a pub league using the pub map... may encourage more people playing pub to practice instead of rumble constantly... <3 doa

have you even tried making settings from scratch? its not easy better to learn by playing with sets for 5/6 years before trying to just build them, and i still wouldnt reccomend it it would work if the 17th setts were realeased to us but they arnt going to be... this probably wont be a total re-work of the settings just a modification and i wouldnt like to be the one to have to replicate the settings... have fun trying tex

the current levi is okay, the previous one (slightly slower, slightly faster rotation i think) was the best, the new one is too powerful-along with the weasel

what programming language(s) are we talking here? i volounteer right now for any website side stuff that comes up (hey why not write the program in PHP, everyone loves PHP and its kinda possible now.... ) as for the actual game im learning c++ and can always teach myself the basics of other languages, at the very least enough to understand others' code and maybe do the menial repetative tasks the better coders dont want to do - then they can get on with the rest of it ill also hijack mmav for a while to teach me a bit

Exactly that ^, when i open subchat and try to connect i get disconnected from the server immediatly which zones (if any) allow subchat, i might just be trying to connect to ones which dont allow it

i use spider and you cant say the guns are too strong unless you play it when a spider wins with guns it almost invariable has used an EMP previously, is vulching or has used burst, the bullets are not very effective alone also the spider in a dogfight will come off worst almost every time, it has very little energy and the bullets cost a lot.... people only die against spider when the spider pilot is skilled: most spider pilots play only spider/mainly spider and get to learn the techniques, no newb can use it effectively apart from port-burst

i agree, greening sucks... so much of the game is now about getting bounty not basing -spider/terr/lanc needing 35bty to attach, especially bad at times of low pop -the bountyrecord puts more emphasis on greening and staying alive in mid then balling, the only element really left from the old game now that flagging is gone

i agree with most of the above, but i think shields should be buyable: gives players a reason to get high points (shields+super+bounce) how many people actually buy antiwarp my only real suggestion is that we dont just listen to players of one specific ship and make it good for them - a'la the shrapnel suggestion, making it easier for lanc and harder for others, or removing cloakers to help jav pilots
