Anybody have any suggestions about how to do the trivia bot?

I can find clever ways, so can some other people. But many new players can't, so i'd rather have them not get frustrated about it and leave the zone forever, but rather get excited because they continue to advance. I guess Jds, you just need more skill if the only way you can defend a base is to bomb line ... so maybe its you thats the problem and not the red?

I'll consider reducing the tax to 5-10% and changing the minimum value to 125 million credits. I like the idea of the tax going somewhere (which I have been considering all along), like to some kind of jackpot, where a percentage of the jackpot is given to someone for winning something (like KOTH), or used for trivia or event rewards ... there is possibilities, I just haven't implemented trivia or KOTH yet, so I can't use it for that. Using the brick was just an example Hakaku too ... the point is abuse .. and the bigger point is my db will fail if the numbers get too high. then EVERYBODY will !@#$%^&* at me because there is no buy system anymore. Hak, I win only when a) I had the most newbies and I had the most players with the least amount of points, where even winning the jackpot would not give them as many points as any other player on the other team. It gets these players enjoying the game more beacuse they actually won, they actually have credits, and its fun. Hak, new players won't be scared off because of a tax because new players won't have 75 million credits. I think another problem is that mods/bot ops are abusing the !giveall or !givecredits commands available to them so peoples credits are getting inflated unnecessarily. Maybe you guys should stop bashing me, and realize how hard it is to make EVERYBODY happy and keep the game FAIR at the same time. I do not see any of you offering to make a bot plugin, or offering to make a halloween map (it got made 2 hours before halloween started, if I'm going to have event maps, I want them up a week before halloween started, not a week after). I have a post right now for thanksgiving/christmas base suggestions ... did anybody post anything for thanksgiving. No. Has anyone posted anything for christmas. No. Make suggestions, i'm fine with that, but don't start bashing me for trying to keep the game fair and fun for as many people as possible

Mage, give me the coords of every rocket location on your map. in DCME just mouse hover over the tile and it will give u the coords. Also give the the coords for your start and end in this format: highlight top left corner, use those coords for x and y, then give me width and height from that.

Heh, also, what do you guys think of it going until x deaths? Should I possibly have it set up to x kills instead? That way, people won't run + hide?

Well I screwed up the code then, it should be everyone vs jugger and not everyone vs everyone I'll fix that 2nite when I get home. I know what I did wrong lol.

1. Monthly credits resets were done by SOS before 2. The tax is still needed because t-man gets like 400 mil credits in like a weekend ... so within a month somebody can ac!@#$%^&*ulate billions of credits, and quite frankly, I dont want my bot or db to break because of the numbers getting too big. AND those credits can still be used in one really big game .. .screwing everybody else over when they constantly buy bricks.

I download them and I've made maps out of them!

For staff members since public can't use it, I've created an alias plugin that works like !alias playername Leave me a message if you see any problems.

I've added map + settings at ?go jugger I just need to make a bot run the event properly, which I'll hopefully get done this week.

I've been thinking about this lately, There are problems - especialy if one player decides to give points to bot then the other player backs off ... there is a lot of little things like that to keep track of. I think for now, just have it as an honour system, use a staff member as a witness to the bet, and then if the player backs out after you win the duel, then the staff member can intervene. I'm going to lock this topic, but if somebody has an excellent idea, go ahead and start a new topic, referencing this idea.

There are quite a few people that can't do it well ... so this helps them a lot.

That was kind of the point of red ... with bombs useless that gives the opposing team a chance to get through a bomb line since bullets are much less effective in a bomb line ...

We haven't really made a decision on HOW to do this yet ...
