So I had this interesting thought earlier: What if there were an effectively 100% (let's say ~99.999%) chance of pregnancy every time any two people of different genders (with both being of childbearing age and with the female not being already pregnant) have sexual intercourse without reliable contraception? Would the unintended pregnancy rate in first world countries go up, go down, or remain about the same? Possible argument for going down: people might rely on unreliable contraception, such as the rhythm method or pulling out, less often. Possible argument for going up: people are still going to behave like they do now because lust and logic don't go together. …

I wouldn't characterize myself as a proponent of incest, by any means, but why do you think it is such a taboo in the developed world these days? After all, in (not so distant) history, incest was commonplace, accepted, and sometimes even expected and encouraged. Discuss away!

I'm searching for something that would allow me to do something like... Right-click an image file, and have it uploaded somewhere so I can post it on forums and such. Picasa seems to be doing pretty much that... But I don't want to install it just to realize it doesn't do what I want. So did any of you ever use it? Or do you know of any similar programs that could do that? Always a nice read. http://www.newsweek.com/id/166692?GT1=43002 Since a lot of people's opinions come from the commercials, and rarely from actually reading anything until they go to debate with someone and try searching/finding anything supporting what they think they know; I always find reading these commercial fact checks worth it every election. It is looked at from both sides equally, so really no point debating on this besides just getting extra info, only reason I'm sharing it.

Saw V This movie was extremely disappointing. I would wait for it to come on DVD if I were you. Here's why... Spoiler! --Click here to view--First off, I am a huge fan of the Saw movies. I have liked everyone from 1-4 simply because of the twists it gives (and the goriness). Both were missing from this movie. The traps themselves were simple and not fun, electric shock in water, exploding nail bombs, swinging pendulum, head decapitation. The only good one was when they had to put thier hand in the saw. Very fitting. Anways, the traps sucked. What happened to ripping the ribs right off or putting your hand in acid to get a key? The second part is...THERE WAS NO TWIS…

I just graduated from Basic Training last Thursday and have internet access now. I still won't get on too often as I will be busy. However, the good news is that it will be high speed access so I might actually get on to Continuum rather than lurking around the forums.

I have been looking for the old SS database that I have recently found out was no longer hosted. I checked web archive and I found the link to get to the database but the database itself was never archived. http://web.archive.org/web/20050622042458/...ace/scores.html That is the archive link as of May 11 2005. I was curious if anyone had any idea what happend to it, who might have it, where I might be able to find it. Eh i used to like a lot of games that when i play them they captivate me (like a good book) and played for hours (and finished them actually), but recently (well more like the last 1-2 years) I can't even play a game for 1-2 hours anymore. Games have become boring and dull . I've tried different genres too, shooters have never been my thing, but games such as a racing game or a good RPG i used to enjoy pretty much. Now when i play similar games, i quit after a while because i get bored of them , it's to the point that i enjoy programming something more than actually relaxing and playing a game.. I probably outgrew them .. so yeah, growing up makes games more boring …
