This is the official "can't get any more boring" thread! Post tomorrow's (or, if you're posting in the daytime, today's) anticipated highs and lows! If you aren't sure where the heck to get that information, this is a handy place to start. For me, it's : H 36 (2) / L 19 (-7) Dig in, everybody!

It seems my cookies, or whatever stores the 'last post you read in topic X' information, get thrown back in time once in a while... I read topics, they then appear as read and everything, then a couple hours or a day later I come back and there's a bunch of topics with "unread" posts, and clicking the 'last unread post in this topic' button brings me to something I read a while ago. Does anybody else get that? It seems to be happening more lately :/ In the last week or two, maybe.

So I had a little over an extra hundred dollars I was plannin to use to buy IP.Downloads and a few other upgrades for SSForum and a mod to connect SSCentral to SSForum, but some dumb bastards decided they needed to see if they could break into my car. I have a bright blue flashing LED you can see through the windshield and even the tinted windows alerting the alarm is on, and some bastard thought he could break my window and get into my car. Unknown to him professional tinting is a bit thicker and more durable than the do it yourself shit, and you've REALLY gotta hit the window to rip that stuff. So all they/he/her/whoever ended up doing is spider shattering my window (…

Except for reasons from a 2000 year old book, why shouldn't we do human cloning? I think it would be cool to have a clone of myself. If we mess up and create some deformed mutant we could obv detect that while it's still an embryo and abort before any brain waves or anything. But this is only with the development of the process, which is one aspect of the problem. The other question is that if we had a perfect process to clone humans, would it still be immoral/wrong... and why. For those of you that don't know how cloning works it's basically they inject some adult DNA into an embryo (after sucking its original DNA out), and then a genetically identical being develops…

I made this small program a while ago, I posted it on MGB forums, but it appears I didn't post it here... You give it as many lvl files as you want as command line arguments, and it will generate .bmp files of it. It uses the same colors as DCME's radar thing Just updated it... The Junky supplied me with a bunch of maps that didn't get through the utility, and I found out these maps had corrupted data in them. On top of that, it didn't handle very well the maps with 8bit tilesets and no eLVL data. DCME also had problems loading the maps, while SSME loaded them fine, and CLT loaded them fine, but with additional tiles that appeared to be random. The thing is, SS…

Probably have to say my favorite yet. Sadly the Nazi Zombies got me from behind my 1st solo run on the bonus level. Good times though. Found it really tough at times, and wasn't a breeze like most the other ones. Though I like the flame thrower, and a few of the sniper rounds a lot. Also the final battles for each campaign are a bitch at times.

This is a serious inquiry. I am looking for a website coder to code a website to display an actors filmography, biography and such. We are willing to pay whatever you think is reasonable (if its worth $1000, he will pay $1000, etc.) I have talked to him some, and he is looking for a professional, simple, eloquent, user friendly, website. He has expressed that he really likes Tom Cruise's website a lot. It also must have a admin page for us and him to upload content easily and securely. I will provide webhost cPanel or FTP access as neccessary. If anyone wants to attempt to take up the challenge and earn some serious cash, let me know. You MUST have other work to bac…

I was kind of thinkin bout this the other day when I blew the dust off my Quake2 cd, and thought about the days when I was in clan Se7en playing Q2 CTF more religiously than I ever have Subspace. Hell, I quit subspace for almost 2yrs just to solely play Q2. Man, the days of dialup, and waiting overnight to get CTF updates and new mods, haha. Subspace (1996ish) was probably the 1st computer game I ever played outside of Oregon Trail in like the 1st grade (1991ish). Was on my buddy's dad's computer, then I got my own and found Quake2 and that was the end of it. Man, good times good times. Kinda makes me wanna see if my old clan is even around still. What were your 1st c…
