Alright so I'm planning on hosting a 2v2 tournament soon, and hopefully some more events as well. The SVS weekend event/test run brought up many interesting factors, including: Lower bty start and less than perfect ships encouraged team play via team greening. Larger freqsizes encouraged more team play and swarming. Fewer greens meant people fought over those available. Anything that emphasizes team play in Chaos is good. The settings changes we made to SVS while I ran the zone in the early 2000s did not affect game play in a huge way. Chaos-bot was created to try and deal with the occasional low population scenarios of too few greens, and too many people on a single freq chasing out all the other people. I've noticed people on justin.tv and ustream.tv broadcasting live game play of various games. I think if someone was to broadcast live game play of continuum it would be a great way to advertise the game for free. If anyone out there can/has the time to do this please give it a shot.

I think it's great that this game has a community (ies) like it does. It's very very unique. I think what's missing is a sense of representation. Hi all. =) I was going through my old games and game boxes, and came across my original Subspace copy. (Yes, I still have it. =) Thought, "man, it would be neat to play that again!" so here I am. A belated congratulations to Interference for winning the 17th RSHL Championship. They defeated Breakaway in game 4, and on a three game winning streak. In addition to the Realistic Subspace Football League (still accepting additions to rosters,) HZ will be offering a small hockey tournament, the 2011 white_0men Memorial Cup. I heard you can't use tiles from other zones, or maps? What kind of joke is this. Some self righteous subspace council, you all own zones, talk about how subspace is free because you have the freedom to create anything you want. And then because you are zone owners you get together on a subspace council and blacklist people for doing just that? Wow are we 25 yet? Or still 14? Don't be like Hoch and say something stupid. Do you know what Hoch had in his Development rules. DSB Staff wrote on an actual document, which is given to everyone in the DEV team that anything uploaded on the server is property of Hoch and DSB. I'm new to the forums (and, to SS generally). I was curious if anyone has tried this new game on Facebook - Vorp! It's more arcadey and not a SS clone by any means, but is fun and has some familiarity. Cool graphics and looks like some good stuff in the works (in 'open-alpha' currently). It's a top-down drifty space shooter with match-based progression. It's a little more forgiving for a newb like myself, though vets seem to dominate well enough. Thoughts?

Bonuses. A specific function introduced into Chaos Zone. I believe the original bot line about it advised that to learn about the Bonus system, was to learn how to own. There are clear problems with the Bonus system. Lame play loves bonuses They are too easy to use, and can too easily turn the tables mid-fight. The player who is killing the most is racking them up, further expanding the gap between newbie and vet. While a winning player should indeed garner success, the gap is a bit too broad. There are some current suggestions for changes to the Bonus system. I wanted to mention them here to see what thoughts were from the proles (says me with my 1:8 w/l ratio!). …

To create an account, download and install Steam from http://cdn.steampowered.com/download/SteamInstall.msi. Once Steam is installed and you get to the login screen, you can proceed to register for a free Steam account (which works with SteamCommunity.com). PS. I know there is already a small SubSpace group out there, but I disagree with its group icon (only some players would understand where it comes from), and the group description sounds very negative toward the game.

Ok i've had enough of the Shark's guns. The rate of fire is TOO much of an advantage. If you're a good running player all you need to do is run, leave a stream and rep, or run never shoot until your opponent is on you and then fire a stream. However if you want to leave the rate of fire then turn max guns on sharks to level 2. Please discuss. Render
