So I'm wondering why it is that people don't like playing in DSB. I would greatly appreciate you guys/girls listing any and all issues you may have with the zone. What reasons keep you from playing there? Thank you for your input,it is greatly appreciated.

If you guys are having trouble with getting the encryption for the game maybe one of you can use IDA Pro with the Hexrays add on to disassemble then reconstruct the c code to get the encryption code. This is pretty much the software crackers use and it's quite good.

when i spawn i type ?status. as i've mentioned before, if something isn't 100% and i don't have especially nice toys, i ship change. i don't usually bother greening to try to hit a rotation or speed etc. this poll is here to find out if others do the same. and if there's plenty of us doing this, may i suggest a change in config so that we just start with a full ship instead? i dont mind about energy, i'll keep a ship and green if its all 100% but >1400 NRG. again as i've mentioned before i'll sometimes shipchange when i run out of toys because its easier than greening in low pops with few greens

Finally got this dusty old project completed. I used the 8 images of the ship symbols (remember the small jpeg artifacts lying around the ss community?) and made them into 3D objects which can render in any resolution, and be skinned and such etc. etc. Felt this was needed, but the project got lost in time. Fixed nd finished it. In the next images, it is very noticable i slapped on some quick texture / material work, but these can always be modified. Hi guys, so this came to mind recently as I have noticed many "name duel" challenges based on 4v4 arguments. A few pilots were discussing if name duel's are rightful settlers of grudges between pilots who start arguing over 4v4 games... so... this is what I suggest. Let's say Pilot A challenges Pilot B to a name duel. Instead of a 1 on 1 duel, the 2 challengers fight 4v4 with other players who have signed up to participate. Let's say there is a pool of 20 people who sign up... Pilot A and Pilot B will have a coin toss to determine who picks first. I've noticed that on portableapps.com they already have multiplayer online games available that can be played on a usb flash drive. I was wondering if our game could be added to the list. They have some tools there that people can use to make apps portable. I was wondering if our game could be added, if so it would open up a new market of players. I wouldn't know how to do it, so those that would please see if its possible.

As some of you know, I have spent the past few months talking to other forum admins, contacting some game admins/devs, and looking through advertising ideas. Granted I have also been working tons of overtime, so has really slowed the entire process, but I feel it is time to begin asking the community itself what it thinks of the thoughts of others. Pppppppprobably some of you have heard of the otomata thing, which generates procedural music using cellular automata rules, located here: http://www.earslap.com/projectslab/otomata I took a challenge for myself to duplicate the entire thing in C# under an hour, but failed (took 4 hours for the basic stuff). Anyway, I kind of threw in everything that I could think of afterwards. As many of you have already heard SSCV are closing up shop. I am willing to host anybody who was previously on SSCV, however there are some requirements: 1. If you're going to demand Subgame2 hosting, you'll need biller connectivity from either SSC or Snrrrubs Isometry biller (both of which are easy to ascertain). 2. You'll need to be willing to learn. I don't mean master new programming languages in a night, but be willing to Google some Linux command line basics from time to time. Alright, so I'm planning on running a 2v2 tournament in the coming weeks. I've put together a basic set of rules/guidelines so far but would like comments or suggestions from those interested in participating as well as date/time suggestions. Please post any of your suggestions, comments, questions, etc here. The aim will be for 8-16 teams which should make it around a 3 hour event, although you will have a bit of downtime in between the early matches if you are the winning team.
