What is subspace? What makes it unique and different from other games? I think it would be nice to have a feature whereby you can stop your ship fully with one key, usually if tou try in most zones you find you still have a little momentum.

I'm back to post because I'm simply appauled at the ranting going on here. If you are one of the people posting things like 'go blow yourself away', or anything related to that, you need to leave the forum. There are many reasons for me saying this which include the fact that what you post here can be used against your will in the US Court of Law if you are a citizen of the US. why isn't there an "opensubspace.sourceforge.net" project going on? Its possible to get a collaboration effort with experienced programmers contributing to creating a platform independant version of a subspace client and maybe even a new server software. The only real concern with open source is cheat prevention, but there must be ways to create an anti-cheat module or some other solutions. Perhaps even make the game in parts - single player client as open source then develope a multiplayer plug-in with a more secure code? It seems quite unreasonable to me to read about all these talanted people slowly struggling to create their own clients when they can develop…

Well, apparently it's my connection that CNL wont work, cuz u ppl all seem to get it to work. But anyways, whenever I try to connect to any IP, or when I search for one, it brings up this message: "Could not connect, launch anyway?" Is there a way to fix this?

I mean, look at how things are going in the US. Politics are no longer a debate on the topics, it's how bad you can attack and make your challengers look. Every day we lose more and more freedoms, and there is now reason for some people to not believe their votes are even counted.
