with the safes how they are it's a pain to go there. so i ask that we make them or at least 1 or 2 of them easier to fly to. case for making the safes easier to get into: 1) ok the biggest reason is the many AFK moments we have. what I do is i just point my shark in the direction of empty space and float over there with the stealth on and hope no one kills me. if the safes were easier/quicker to get to, i would just fly there. most of us do this. i killed hallu the other day when he was doing this. It's exactly like continuum, just in java. With no added features, only a few different graphics. Which is possible in continuum anyway. So why are you renaming it. Aphelion isn't even a nice name. Just call it Continuum or Subspace. And load it on a browser, to bring people to the game.

Why Donations? About 2 yrs ago I moved the sites off of Testtube's hosting and onto our own server. At the time things were very financially stable for me. I was making almost 2x what I needed to live, and when I received a nice bonus I decided to set it aside for Continuum projects. My wife and me were going to be married, and figured when finances meshed she would complain about my expenses for this game. Hello all, It's been great playing versus everyone once again after years of not playing or barely playing. When do people like to play ie what is there favorite time to play! If we could plan to sync up some players at 3-4 main times in the day would help fill the zone. I will use a twitter account to let people know when the zone is starting to fill up when i can. For all of those who have though about trying Hockey Zone in a league-like environment, we are running a special draft event! All players are welcome to enter the draft. The game itself is a slightly modified Hockey Zone ("superhz")--there will be power meters and power ups involved, adding chances to make big plays, even if you're not someone who plays 24/7... but the game itself is still very much team-oriented! You could hardly find a better test of individual and team skill in Subspace than Hockey Zone. I would ideally love a dev team to help me improve the zone and do the ASSS conversion work, but I will deal with the reality and take what I can get. If you have dev talent, I'd love for you to contribute. Graphics creation and SFX creation would be dandy, but unnecessary. The thing I need most if someone who can code ASSS modules. I need at least one merv plugin made into an AS3 module and potentially more depending on your motivation. Every year the navy shuts down our shipyard for a week, and well next week is that week. So I'll be home, and between painting the baby's room, assembling the crib and stuff, I'll be trying to do some work here on the site. I have no idea if this has been posed before. I recently started playing subspace again and am very disheartened to see the games dying. 3 years ago I migrated almost completely to linux, finally choosing linux mint as my preffered linux flavor. One thing I noticed about linux distros ubuntu and mint (and basically all distros) is their default repositories lack greatly in games, especially games which are multi-player online and also fun and dont require much hardware resource to run (basically 0 if you account for the last bit) I have posed an idea to several veterans who I know, and they seemed to like the idea. UPDATE: Okay so the directory server issue is apparently not resolved. If you can't find the zone in the directory list just use the IP 69.164.209.244 and port 13000 to add the zone manually to your list while we try to sort out this nightmare. DS is back online as SSCL Desert Storm. The zone will be in a beta state for a few months while some things are improved and an ASSS conversion is started. The zone is playable and functional but the ship settings are subject to change as they have not been tested in more than 1v1 situations. Graphics and SFX will be being improved and bot functionality will be improved as well during this beta period. Thanks to everyone …
