as far as many newer members are concerned continuum = game subspace = older game being as they never knew subspace. But yeah the next big thing perhaps should be subspace II or something.

surly its a case of locating %# in the text and if its present remove it and send the correct macro packet. I'm no coding expert but i'm sure that can be written, hard maybe but not impossible.

The thing is any anyone is running a server and requires a basic user interface to do it then id be inclined to question their ability to run a server in the first place. Its always been my impression that people running servers are the more tech savvy among us who wouldn't have a problem adapting to Linux. -
looks like an ok start but your content does need to be a bit more formal for people to take this seriously IMO.

What made you lose interest in subspace after so much time and effort to keep it alive?

I have found that whenever i add a bong to an arena message it will appear as %# rather then playing the sound to those on continuum.

surly if bots can do it then an encryption can be written that to the server itself is continuum and it will work just as well. If more time is available the rewrite the server side as well with a way to copy the DB over to make a seamless transition. -
where i was living last year had a cycle path leading from a large shopping center and every week you would see a car driving down it towing a whole row of trolies that people had nicked to take their food home.

Ok im getting myself a shiny new PDA phone with windows mobile 5 and wifi fairly soon and i wondered if its possible to install continuum or subchat on it.

Just a thought but it may be my power saving options. My HDD turns off after 10 mins of idle time so i will see what turning this off does. If it crashes again ill post the whole error message.
