have you been to England this year? over here the winter has been warmer and the summer colder then normal. Why is it some dooms day theories get more people believing them then others? The world was supposed to end in 1998, 2000, 2002.... I've heard one for years saying that the planet will explode in 2007. So if we listen to all of these the world will end every single year until it actually happens in a few billion years...

possibly but our own sun will have wiped us out before it becomes a problem. Only way to avoid that is develop FTL travel and find a new planet.

If we were going to collide with that star it would be a !@#$%^&*load closer then it is now. It is 8.6 light years away which is a very large distance. Even at light speed we wouldn't get there by 2012

I need a decent number of free fonts, preferably a pack with just about everything you will ever need. Does anyone know where I can download one for free?
