this is just one element of the degredatiopn of sociaty in the more deprived areas of the UK IMO. We are seeing chilren of this age in many shocking instances of drink, sex, violence and crime and the media coverage would suggest that things are getting worse. People complain about lack of educatioon here leading to these problems, but thats not it.These kids wil;l not liosten to a word of it! social reform is whats needed if we are going to avoidd 13 year olds having kids. Its all well and good that they have said they will look after it, but that is a goven really amd a respomcibility they have given themselves. In this day and age people should know better then to have unprotected sex and know full well what they are letting themselves in for if they do. In this case they did not consider the risks and the resuklt is a loss of their childhood and teenage years. Please dont bring the "in the moment" argument into this, yes people make mistakes but afterwards they should have the common sense to own up to the act and get the morning after pill.
