The hopone.net router causes everyone to get ploss in TW (I don't know about 17th Parallel) Try running a trace. (On mine and most others, hopone.net shows up with >95% ploss) ~Ewan hopefully this is only a tempory problem.

its also the reason why newbies leave quickly. If the new system allows for rapid initial devolpment which slows down nearer the end as cosos rise, but final upgrads to not give huge advantages the newbs v vets will be alot more balanced.

Try to tturn down your resolution and see what that does. If that does not work try: View -> Options Click the graphics tab Turn colour depth down to 8bit If this does not work post again and ill give you some more suggestions. If it does work please post and let us know

i have it working now. I used 0 0 so i could make sure it appears before placing it. Since this post i have added another 2 or 3 images using the same methord.

This program will be a godsend! ill be happy to test it as i am using LVZ atm in a dev zone.

I am tring to place a single .lvz image in the center of the map but it wont work. Here is my .ini file: Outfile=planet.lvz File=planet.jpg [Mapobjects] 0,0,planet.jpg,AfterBackground,ShowAlways and here is the image:

agreed, alot of zone are rip ofs of something that has already been done 100s of time before but alot of zones fail because they do not have the support they require to suceed. A good bot is half the way there, then good graphics, balanced settings and intresting gameplay are required.

Thats the problem with the direction this game is goind, the amount of data people have to download is increacing and means that the people on dial up have to suffer.

ok try this 1. Plug in your joystick then open continuum. 2. go to view --> Keybord / controller defs 3. Select the joystick / game pad option. Then enter a zone and see if it works. If not try: 1.
