thats pretty much it but the pope does have the power to bring about reforms in the catholic church. I feel that not much will change here as he is conservitive but he can continue John Paul II's work in unification, someting i will very much like to see.

i just know this will get political so ill move it now. It was said they will want to elect an older pope this time round, John Paul II reign was longer then expected.

All this lib dems wont make it but i like them worries me, its something of a visious circle preventing them from getting votes. They wiont make power but they can gain seats which will ultimatly mean more lib dem views are in paliment and pour laws so i dont see why this reason prevents people voting for them. If people are going to think like that it defeats the object of a multi party system.

i have to agree with that, i often find people that ask and ask again usually abuse their power the instant they get it (the commands they know of at least) and havent got the fiest clue about keeping the zone in order.

Seeps the elections are getting near i thought we were in need of this topic so here it is. My vote is going to be for the liberal democrats for the following reaons: 1. They plan to abolish university tuition fees and fund without increacing the student loan interest rate 2. they will make council tax more fair by intoducing a new system 3. they have always been against war in iraq 4. they want to improve their green policy On a more personal level in my local area: 1. they lead the fight to stop the expansion of stansted airport 2. they are against the biulding of thousands of new homes in a small village that frankly cant take anymore people as it is.
