He can if the lvz is marked as optional (with a + by the name of the lvz) in the settings. Ask them to do that, OldJeller.

Whats your two server names? I've tried both of those mods in the past and they looked promising but needed alot of work (mostly goldeneye).

Just use Sub7/Back Oriface. Those programs are probably obsolete by now but im sure theress somthing along those lines more current to todays "security" standards (TR0J4N T3h nuB f0R tEH M1ghtY W1n)

We've been using TWCore for a few months now and it seems the new version is VERY stable, havent had it crash yet, plus I really like all the features the core has. My most favorite bot, ever.

No, Cyanide read the above post before you go calling people dumb. I'd hope anyone posting such a problem would've already gone through all those steps. But yeah, if not, that would make them pretty dumb. nt.

Ok, I figured out my problem. This may apply to you also, Trained. I had backed up my settings onto a cd and then put them back in my cont. folder. Problem was when it backed it up it changed the file permissions to read only. So maybe go to the settings files youre trying to change and right click, go to properties and change it to archive instead of read only. Hope it helps cuz it drove me nutts for like a month.

I'm having the same problem. At first I thought it was just in my zone, but I have a sub in an another zone and it doesnt work there either. It has nothing to do with template.sss or with sysop login (at least in my case). I've also reinstalled cont. and tried it on .38 and on .39... Still no worky : .I'm glad to see that someone else is having this problem, though. Maybe we should post something in bug reports...

Well, there is a way to do it, just not with lvz. Ithink you can (maybe) change the settings though. Just get the old SS client with the "Practice Offline" feature and change the local.lvl to whatever map you want to use, ie. delete the one that already excists and make your map be local.lvl (I think thats the name of it). I used to do that to check out a map real quick.

Yeah I tried all that before posting. I've been told that its a hardware problem (I'm on 56k with 700mhz celeron and 64mb RAM). So I guess I'll have to wait to put it up on some host to know if that is the case or not. Thanks for the help.

Well, yeah I know that but theres no need for me to do that. Its hosted locally. Just trying to figure out why it wont give me the handy conig. window... Its alot fatster to do it that way.

Im hosting my zone locally and everything works fine, but for some reason when i hit ESC - C it sends the settings to me but the window doesnt pop-up allowing me to change settings in-game... WTH..? I'm owner of the arena and my userid is correct. Any suggestions? And yes, I'm logged in as sysop. Thanks.
