We got hardcore intensive training for 3 months and then got sent off to the phones like lambs to the slaughter, hahah. There's a million things you need to know and there's always new things happening, things changing, so you have to keep yourself up-to-date. Sometimes you'll get calls which can be confusing; for example if someone calls about an issue that isn't really for you to handle but you're not quite sure. I'm pretty sure that's what happened in Dav's case. Maybe the guy was relatively new and wasn't able to tell yet. Which is understandable if you get bombarded with information which you're supposed to be a specialist at, and then get a call from someone who's talking about the same system you support, just not that aspect of it. It seems Root got a more experienced person. I don't know if it was the same case for Dav's guy as it is for us, but with what we do the information is so extensive that it's impossible to become a 100% effective specialist until you have at least 6-8 months of experience. And even then new and unique things and problems appear all the time which each need to be approached and solved in their own way. gg. inc read pm

I believe that there's a certain point where spiritualism and science meet. I believe that "everything is everything", which is a sentence that represents (part of) my beliefs. I believe that science has the potential to explain every aspect of spiritualism. That's why I like that do!@#$%^&*entary / movie "What The Bleep Do We Know"! I believe in God, but I think that the whole concept of "God" has been very misinterpreted, which is pretty well explained in that do!@#$%^&*entary. I believe that the different religions are just different methods of the same thing, which a lot of times is done blindly simply because of tradition. I think that the Bible and most religious texts are so metaphorical and deep that they can't really be used as a means of explanation of the different religions, they always end up being misinterpreted. The Bible contradicts itself because life is one big contradiction, because death for example, is part of life. I also am against organized religion. If your beliefs are imposed, inflicted, then they're not really beliefs; you need to come to your own essence. but this topic is way too complex!!

Okay I did some testing last night and this is my little diagnose / conclusion... All specials except repeller use bombfiredelay as their "fire rate" value, repeller uses minefiredelay, and both cause weapondelay on all specials and weapons. Portal will never be affected by, nor cause any weapondelay (meaning you can drop one port after another immediately regardless of the weapondelay that is caused and is affected by other specials and weapons.) Rocket will never cause weapondelay but it will be affected by the weapondelay caused by other specials, but not the weapons. Regular (non-EMP) bombs + bullets (the weapondelay caused by bullets is obviously determined by the bulletfiredelay) will cause weapondelay on weapons and specials (except rocket & port) while EMP bombs will only cause weapondelay on the weapons but not the specials. All specials (except rocket & port) cause weapondelay, and that weapondelay is determined by the bombfiredelay except in Mr. Rep's case. Oh and, EMP mines use bombfiredelay instead of minefiredelay, which means that EMP mines will cause the same weapondelay as EMP bombs. Class dismissed. ...EXCEPT YOU ROOTBEAR, you got detention. Note that my testing was done using SubSpace 1.35 and needs "confirmation" from CTM 0.40 tests. So all of my hard, super leet and super sweet detective work could be complete-and-utterly useless ;/ Edit: Nice find root, posted this before I read your edit ;/ You're dismissed I guess ;/

bout the delays... Bombfiredelay; DECOY BRICK THOR(DUH) REPELLER Burst uses minefiredelay and I think port does as well if I remember correctly no clue about rockets. i could be wrong on some or all of these claims tho! gonna check tonight been toying with settings a little, but with SubSpace so would have to double check whatever I find out. have a nice weekend guys!
