Thats fine. I just wished this could have been advoided in the first place. Excluding groups of people tend to upset them. setting up some guidelines and then making exceptions for some and not others makes things look even more flaky. This is on the council website and should represent the people that are a part of it. Thus not something that is thrown together just to get it up. I feel that this is a good idea I dont mind that its not !@#$%^&*ociated with these forums. I only feel that the official Launch could have been done better. I am pretty much done with my Rant since this is now in the past.

The concept of the forum is fine the place at which its located is fine. I think there are a couple of things that could use some tweaking As far as who has access and who doesn't And when you come to a conclusion as to who should and who shouldn't stick to that and dont deviate.

I think this has been poorly thought out. You can't say player's X Y Z gets in and then add someone that doesn't fit that description. As a council member and a zone sysop i am a bit shocked at this poor organization of this forum. I think this needs to be discussed in more depth. I am sure good intentions were involved however the council already has a negative view by the community. This should have been thought out better as to who gets access and who doesn't. It seems the fundamental reason to have the board has not really been established.

I went ahead and bought the Dell XPS system very decent PC the case is higher end then what i could prob. have picked up by myself So over all very please so far. I am getting ready to reinstall World of warcraft which last time ran extremly poor in vista. So that will be the true test.

What i was looking for was a comparison to other similar equipped computers in this price range Meaning is there a deal going on anywhere that has simliar or better spec's then the one i posted for a better price point? i have looked at all the usual places bestbuy newegg hp dell gateway. Just looking if i missed anything.

do we have a timeline of when they are going to have nexus out?

Thinking about buying this new computer check it out. If anyone knows of a computer with better hardware than the one i am listing else where let me know (in the same price range) I will prob. be making my purchase decision tomorrow Computer

I gave it alot of thought about posting my bussiness on the forums here but after reading MillenniumMan topic i cant help but make one myself. I dont want to take anything away from MillenniumMan topic and i found it enjoyable to read. I just found out on Tuesday my Fiance is pregnant. After dinner i was brought to the back room and showed the test i was in complete amazement and started screaming Oh my god. Still in disbelief i brought home a second and more expensive test for her to take. Which came back positive as well. So i am having a baby guys i am so shocked excited and worried all wrapped in one pretty amazing

I think the idea is nice to have a client download from the forum I just dont think it needs to redirect the person away from the server

You are right everyone and thier brother can say they have 99.9% uptime But the majority do not. There was a uptime thread on this forum with many community websites being monitored. This server was the only one that represented 100% uptime. for over 6+ months Uptime alone is only part of it. The other part is if they are on a server where they can see the "download now link" Why ship them off to another server that may be down to download that link I dont care who gets the traffic it would be stupid to redirect the user from someplace that is up (Because they visited the forum to see the link. to another server that may or may not be down) or have the account suspended or whatever the case may be. The Ideal method to handle this would be let SSFORUM handle the file download off the same server. It will be interesting to see reasons as to why thats not the best way of doing it.

ssforum in the past has always used subspacedownloads.com for file service i dont see it changing.
