Critical Mass Top 5: Three, designator, Ozn, boolean, Antihuman Comments: Lots of aliasers here and I'm not sure who's who. The players I have listed are solid and can hang with anyone in the league. However they lack depth and could use someone who is able to turn it up in big games. If they solely rely on Three to make the plays (which I doubt, but its a possibility) then they could have problems but there is enough experience here to ensure that they can challenge for a top spot. Despite only 8 rostered members, its a quality over quantity team and all of the guys can turn up and play well. Giving analysis on a team that just throttled Outlaws in the semi-finals and have no idea who half the rostered players are. Ok. With the utmost respect to ishy4life and motorzep, we only deepened our roster in the off-season. Best of luck. There is only one team come post season time that poses a threat. Assassins.

Sorry to disappoint gentlemen, Critical Mass returns, as I posted like 6 weeks ago. We were in the off-season right? I'm glad a good number of you used that time to practice up - clearly you needed it. Great to see said players were so quick to kick us out of league. You're all schleps. Good luck. Can't wait. Welcome back fury - I was still picking my nose in Warzone when you guys were winning league. I just wanted to see if anyone had screenshots of rosters or anything like that so the map could be updated and accurate (I assume nobody would have a problem with that if rostered members could be proven). Currently the map has I think 4 players and a ...... regarding the season one champions. All the best. P.S. - You should bring ONE back.

That's also what I figured with the .... That system I believe was regarding Pyramid League, prior to Season One on our current map or it ran parallel to this league (pretty sure it was before). It would be cool to have those champions on the map but I have zero clue who won each respective "season" there. The masterrater site goes back to season 3 or 4 with records that are spotty. They say season one but really aren't. There was also Euro League that had higher start bounties and bullet damage, Candy knows enough about that. I assume people don't want those on the map but I always figured those champions should be there too. Shrug.

Does anyone remember or have any logs from "Season One" or even pyramid seasons before that? I'm sure ONE had more than 4 players on their roster that season. That ...... on the map always bothered me. It's a small matter, just curious.

The vast majority definitely live in North America, but the overall population being what it is, I don't think Subspace can survive losing its European player base either, which probably represents something like a quarter. Most Europeans can't play matches after 5pm EST. That said, I think the schedule should respect North American holidays as well as European holidays. It's better for everyone to have a weekend off than to have a bunch of no-shows or force teams to play with secondary lineups and lose their motivation. Completely agree - we want Euro's to play. Both should get weekends off for Holiday's.

Bingo. I'm unsure of the exact percentages regarding league composition... but I would bet the vast majority live in North America. A schedule can easily be generated once we have all team names. Putting times and dates next to each match-up is very easy. And Caer, we're all aware of our "real life duties". That little jab is tangential to the issue of playing games on weekends where there shouldn't be games period. I'm sure NA players (the majority of the league population) would happily have events or just a few weekends off in place of matches during July 4th weekend or for a few European holidays. Can we also please cater to the majority of the population regarding North American holidays? I'm sick of having to gear a holiday weekend around internet spaceship matches. Sorry dear we have to arrive at 3 to the Father's Day BBQ, I have a spaceship match...... Go to the beach? Sorry I have to show for my game or we'll lose and receive a seed less in the post season and play Assassins round 1. Etc. I brought this up more than a few seasons ago. Edits: Can we please have game times (with dates) posted for the entire regular season ahead of time? It should be really easy to post. That stupid site I used to randomly generate last seasons schedule could be used again, and times added to games right then and there. Lastly, can we update the map with the past 2 champions unless it has already been done? If it's a matter of time, myself or Aquitas can easily do it. Honestly, I agree for the most part with what you've said here. Again, I appreciate the sentiment. I am a person with many interests. I play guitar and sing in a rock band for which I write all the music. I am an a avid photographer. My golf handicap is currently in the single digits. I am a USTA 4.0 ranked tennis player. I race automobiles in the SCCA (sports car club of america) amateur spec-miata series. I am also an avid oil painter. So subspace has always been my 'guilty pleasure', something that, even knowing of the vast waste of time it represented, I did anyway simply because it was fun and I was addicted. Then when pub started being underpopulated and Axe Demento began driving everyone nuts, I switched over to 4v4 and began trying to learn it. As it turns out, there is far more political B.S. in 4v4 and exponentially more egotistical, big mouthed douchebags. So then one night Three (an egotistical, big mouthed douchebag) decided to USE THE ACTUAL TRAPPINGS OF THE ARENA ITSELF to enforce douchebaggery on me. I simply don't have time to allot for participation in this kind of thing, especially if there is no recourse in the rules of the game itself or with the people who are in charge of the game. Therefore, I am done playing the game. I have used the (unbelievable amount of) hours I now have free to take a crash course on using Photoshop and Lightroom for doing post work on my photos. I've enjoyed it more than I've enjoyed subspace for years. Truth be told, I am really glad Three is such an unbelievably large dickhead or I might have never been able to quit. Yes Caerbannog is the person who banned Ozn, and is a racist. It's well documented. I wasn't thanking him, I was thanking the tons of others that backed Ozn, and us. Why has Ozn been banned from Pro League, especially during the semi-finals against the very team the league sysop is rostered on? During double kills the game (bot) glitches and you re-spawn where you died from time to time. I have even see people die "twice" when the bot glitches in practices. Ozn did not attach to any team mate and repel. Please show us a recording of where he actually attaches and his energy drops to half, I would love to see it. Moreover, when he did repel, frozen at 0, still thinking he was alive, the repels did NOT impact the game. At the very most you can burn him for one ship in the next match. Banning him (for 3 months are you kidding?), when he is basically the best player on Critical Mass, is disgusting. There has been no announcement, he was just banned. This is a huge conflict of interest and an abuse of power. Unban him, and give 9-volt the sysop. The current sysop is not objective and clearly hopes to gain an advantage by banning the best player on Critical Mass. If there was wrongdoing, this is an issue to be decided by the council. Until that can happen, Ozn should be able to play.
