  1. 7th here, Speaking as a former Outlaws/FTN/nguyen player for 6+ years? and their previous council member, currently CM's Council member. I am here to say that Outlaws and CM don't want OZN banned. I believe this solely lies on Caerbannog. I have been playing this game for quite a few years... and have never seen anything of this capacity before (in a league match). I try to be a friend to all (excluding Dre and Pez) and caer has been a friend, even though a lot of people hate him. I think that his mind has been clouded on this issue and should elicit some type of response from him other than a personal message saying that "He broke a rule." and nothing else being said. From my personal experience in this glitch, I have had this happen a number of times. I have double died almost a half dozen times (it’s never happened to me Last Life) and each time I basically continued to live or respawn (whatever actually happens) with 0 energy and the same items from before. Each time I was pissed because I looked down and the bot said I died and I was still alive (or so I thought) and then since I had 0 nrg I died a second time for two deaths in a matter of seconds. Each time I “died, but lived”, I did not know I died, for a few seconds. If you compare this to OZN's situation, I am not totally sure on what happened as for I didn't see it and it's all second hand, but I can understand that if you were in a situation of this nature in a semi-final game where it looks like you lived and had 0 nrg with the same items (a repel as one of them) under that duress, would you not repel? So, the question is, why would someone be thrown the book at when it was fairly clear to over 95% of the population that it was not malicious. As Motorzep said, with over 40+ people watching, wouldn't someone have said something? No, no one said anything because there was nothing. Why are we penalizing someone for a glitch in the game? If this is how we are going to treat our population, then I really don’t want anything to do with this zone anymore. 7th – 5 time pro chump
  2. Low-population has hit all zones. Trench Wars is no different. In TW, though, people have put (and are doing it) some effort into bridging the gap between the good and the bad, thus making them more interested in the more competitive aspect of the zone and involved in "leagues". in my opinion chaos/4v4 zone are doing a poor job at this. it's too easy to run in pub, many pracs are filled with stack-teams and "veterans". so newer player teams are easily overrun. my point is: the current 4v4 prac arenas are too hard for newbies and I would like some input if iit is possible to include elim-style arenas or something similar.where newbies like I, and other tw players could prac while waiting in queue. ps. i'm better than vt Stupid trench wars shitzone once again and dumbass kids playing it. -vt being on the pro council I have suggested doing more things like TW and elim and a ladder league where new teams can challenge others and so forth similar to TW, but I have been shot down everytime or nothing gets done. PS I'm better than vt
  3. Sigh. World Cup Weekend. Why would anyone schedule games for this Sunday when most people will be in a bar?? SIGH SIGH SIGH. what is this world cup you speak of?
  4. The forcecap has never been just for squads and there has never been a gentleman's agreement. To the people complaining: The issue is that society today is all focused on trying to put blame on others and not themselves. Oh, let’s sue McDonalds because I am fat. etc.. Learn to take on self-responsibility. You are responsible for being sucky. We all were sucky once. Practice in another arena or you might have to wait to play in a 4v4 arena. We all have done this and all still do this. Deal with it. Life isn't fair. Grow up. Become an adult and stop acting like a spoiled brat. It is rare when there is enough people for another arena you reality ignoring buffoon. Get off Three's tiny penis. I am not sure why you are relating my comments to three's. The reality is that life isn't fair. Live with it. We have all dealt with this and still do. Try to better yourself in other ways. Go duel. Go 2v2 go 3v3.... then 4v4 when you can. Stop being a liberal idiot and deal with it like a man. Stop whining. Why are we trying to change forcecap when it will probably alienate over half the population and only benefit 3 people who are new to the zone? (or these teams would just switch arenas and kill the arena leaving the newb team 4v0) it is a dieing game and we should be more inclined to keep vets then recruit new players. It takes years for these newer players to truly compete and when the game is about to die we try to make the best out of the end.

  6. ^ Benji just recieved another star in my book,
  7. The game has been this way for a long time. You need to wait, that is just what it comes down to. We've all been through this and we are all playing this for fun (or you are addicted). The reason why teams FC is because they are probably looking for an opponent that will actually have a shot to compete vs them. Especially when you are trying to play vs a pro tier team. It isn't fun to beat up on newer players and actually it is my belief that it makes the pro players become sloppy. By playing a team that is on par or in a close proximity helps sharpen players talents. To help out in this scenario for people who are getting the short stick, I wanted to implement a more TW based arena. I've mentioned and have been pushing for an arena more like TW where we can as captains of each frequency agree on a Teamsize (say 3v3, 4v4 or 5v5), have it a draft style where it can keep the game running smoothly with little breaks. The reason for having the ability to switch Teamsize is because sometime there are only 6 people in the arena and it takes forever to get 2 more or if you want to dabble into 5v5 go ahead. I've suggested doing this in one arena and keep the other the same.
  8. usually if you didn't log k/d or have just subbed in it will not count that practice fore erat so people won't abuse it, even though erat is stupid in general

  10. Wait, was the question "who runs the most?" I must have missed it
  11. Wow. Having the ability to schedule our own games would make me so happy. Plutorus is a mod if I am not mistaken, and he is on pretty much everyday. Could he be given the power to load the game bot for games scheduled in the week? It just makes sense. Many of us are in our 30s now... If we can't be trusted to schedule our own games, I don't know how any of us can be relied on to provide for ourselves and our families. We're not 15 any-more. We don't need baby sitters. I wouldn't trust mindriot with anything. ~7th
  12. all of the games are already posted in http://www.subspace.co/topic/27329-season-35-full-schedule/
  13. Nobody is stopping squads from creating cadet squads... I am not sure you are reading what I wrote. or understanding the main concept behind what i wrote.
  14. buny is dreamery or 2's brother. Great dueler, but not the greatest 4v4 player (not saying he is bad, he is still really good. He has improved a lot since he changed his res, but I still haven't seen anything impressive from him in a League Match).
  15. This is just something that came to my mind. How about haveing team sizes around 20 (10 aml 10 pro), but having two seperate divisions. Sooo each squad has a aml and pro team where the captains can shift players up and down. This would reduce the number of teams, but it would be like merging a pro and aml team so that the players can play vs teams of the same strength. This would also reduce the number of no-shows. You could have rules like a player set as AML can only play 1 or 2 games for a pro team without being moved up to the pro status and we would would have to come up with clear rules on the shifting of players, but this could benefit teams by not having no shows and help teams play vs teams of the same level of skill and reduce player stealing (in a sense).
  16. I agree with Seis. Mop is a great player. He plays his role of support extremely well and does more for the team then people think. That support role fills the gaps and helps capitalize on more aggressive players moves. It also helps the team defensively by covering for other team mates and placing bombs strategically so people do not advance further.
  17. PB!! i am still mad that RA killed Powerball... I am willing to captain a powerball team.
  18. If there were 12 teams, I don't think it would be a bad Idea to make a split to 6 and 6 teams and have two different tiers, but the question would be who decides what team goes where and such. I have always liked the idea of a challenge league in which squads challenge each other and gain points for their team and such. Just like the Trench Wars system and then with those stats we can decide which teams are pro/aml for playoffs. This still poses the problem that our league isn't as active as it once was and it might be hard to get those games. i guess there could be slotted times on sundays where teams can challenge other teams and such, which would essentially be like a match too. We could fool around with length of games and such too.
  19. The thing is if you split up the so called "pro" squads more (and other squads) the league would flop. a lot of players can only play every other week at most and thus why we have a roster size of 14. if we only allowed 8-10 players you'd have more no shows. take ego for example. they have 5 active players and a few inactives which is still not enough. if you have 5 actives and 5 inactives you still might have no shows. Stacking in some way or form will happen no matter what, even if the rosters were smaller. the only difference would be that the half active people wouldn't play or be on the squad and not join another squad because they'd rather play with their friends. which would end up creating less people playing. As caer said. It isn't just one way. Yes AML only get 2-4 good matches, but the pro teams only get 2-3 good matches as well. The only way we could make things more fair is by a draft and I highly doubt that would happen. People like squading/playing with certain people and if you f that up people will just no show because there is no reason to play with people you may not like. On a side note, I think being a lower tear team would be best because they are able to play against opponents that are better and in doing so become better themselves. This allows for growth as where a pro team has very little growth occuring.
  20. if other teams split up this will hapen to them. Hence why we have a roster size of 14 so we can avoid no shows. In an ideal world it would work, but this world is not ideal and not everyone can show every weekend for a 50 year old spaceship shooter game.

    Mother's Day

would be a good idea to vote about it. I know our team is mostly gone.
