Me and emblazon have decided to go with adverting the zone full throttle, Polix has been very generous to help us out with our bot problems, and we have been delaying advertising the zone without fully functional things. We figured that the zone is operational, not yet fully functional, but playable. So with these thoughts in mind we have decided to go all out and make the zone stand out so we can establish our base population. This post is mainly for me to ask and see who would be supportive of our zone and help give it, it's first breath. If you dont want to be supportive, than by all means, you dont. But, if you have witnessed our zone in action, and have seen the true originality and pure fun in it, then I ask for you to be supportive. I was doodling around and thought up an idea to help bring the zone up with the power of the community. I have made a sig banner, within the limits as posted: 500x150. It may not be "ZOMG TEH BEST", but its themed on the zone itself. Tried to set my "Zone" in my profile settings to my zone, but there is no SSCC Unreal Tournament on the list, its still labeled as SSCI, was wondering if that could be changed? Thanks.

No actually, i was thinking about my own zone.. Doc has also hit the nail on the head, if the zone is balanced like its supposed to be (if there is a good owner anyway), all ships should be equal...so, saying that, theres always a way to kill a lamer. Players just get mad and go "ZOMGWTF I HATE THE (insert ship name here) ITS SO LAME GET RID OF IT". Meh, my point is already proven, im just going for conversation

I think the trick is to listen to the zone's clients - if they want something, implement it, but don't change something that the majority of people woudn't like. Not true. Even if the majorities of the players want something done, it doesnt always turn for the best. What if you have a lame cloak ship that is veryyyy fun to play, but lame as !@#$%^&*? People will !@#$%^&*, (the majority) and if you remove it, alot of those same people might have been in love with that ship, and it may have been the only one they used. Since they dont like it anymore, they leave, which can start a chain reaction in certain situations.

If im not mistaken, back in the "good ol' days" there used to be zone reviews, where a selected, knowledgable critic would go into different zones and write a review on them for players to read and rate. Would it be possible to do this again to help advertise zones and for players to give ratings to? It would help out new players to see which zone they would feel comfortable most playing. I dunno, just some ideas I thought id write down and get opinions on.

I thought it would be nice to share with you guys about my new business that I am currently working on. I am going into business for clothes. What I will be doing is: me and my partner will be making customized shirts for people and pretty much just be selling them. Until we stack up enough to open up a store. I am currently designing new shirts, and playing around with ideas. As I said, this is all just our base ideas and plans, I dont want to get too boring and go into details about anything. However, I am thinking of selling shirts online, via paypal, we could maybe create MG/TW/EG/Other zone shirts for fans to wear. If any of you need anything customly made, or anything at all, just post away. I didnt post here to be flamed, just to show you some work that will be done, so in the future when you see a "KustomiZe It Clothing" franchise popping up all over the place, you know you were the first people to know about it when it was still in development. PS: I also would appreciate it if anyone that knew about airbrushes/paints/etc to tell me a bit. It would save the extra research for us to do, when we could do more important things...like make new shirts

Well we figured, how better to help continuum grow with new players and be more connected with current player than to actually advertise on myspace? Im sure a bunch of you will say "ZOMG MYSPACE IS SO GAY" ect ect, but we, the staff of SSCC Unreal Tournament, think that it is a great idea, we currently have caught a gamer's eye that does reviews and sends his pack of blog readers to go play the game he currently reviews. We think this would be a good chance to help the community grow, and well yea...help the zone grow as well.
