I am merely looking for alternative game play where skill is placed at the forefront and "luck" is eliminated as much as possible.

So, lately I have noticed an excessive use of offensive reps. People will use whatever they can to their advantage, however, it's painfully annoying and feels a bit "dirty". Also, the PB Thor Big Bee attack. As much as I love killing someone with this move, I feel it is unfair because the pilot using it generally does not suffer the consequence of the PB. My solution to these realities is below: What if: -Every player starts out the game with 0 repels. -There is a set amount of 12 Repel's per game total represented by every pilot's death. Essentialy, when you die, your green leaves a repel. Two teams fight and gain Repel advantage through kills. This gives the green prize a new dimension as the player with repels can be used tactically and forces pilots to use Repels responsibly. This would eliminate the reckless use of repels in offensive rep kills and would essentially eradicate repel death's altogether as Repels would become precious. I think this would add a Capture The Flag dimension to games and matches as well as force pilots to raise the level of their skill. -Reintroduce self kills for PB thor moves. This would prevent people from using this move unless they were planning to kill themselves as well. Thoughts/Ideas?

Alright dudes, couple of things from the Riot of Minds. 1. This is the best game ever created and the community is full of highly skilled pilots. I have a ton of respect for many of you, not solely for your skill level, but because many of you have done well with your lives. We have known each other for a lifetime already and that in itself is an interesting thing. 2. Given the reality of no.1, we can all do better when dealing with one another, and frankly some people have to man up. I am not going to name any names, you know who you are. If by chance you do not, I have written some friendly pointers below to help you out. 1. For the pilot that *always has an excuse* after a death: three> enough with the excuses three> it makes you weak 2. For the pilot that *always* blames lag after a death: three> enough with the excuses three> it makes you weak 3. For the pilot that *always* blames his team after a death: three> enough with the excuses three> it. makes. you. *WEAK* You get the picture. If you die, or die out... try growing a pair of testicles for a change and take it like a man, don't say anything. Come back and say something with how you pew pew. Kill the guy that killed you and FEEL THE GLORY! You know what happens? You have a little less space between your thighs and a little bit more OOMF in your thrusters, savvy? You are not going to survive every battle you have in Subspace. You are going to die. It is an inevitability. I know, you know, god almighty in his continuous continuum knows. If you are in your early 30s, or approaching your 30s and the above applies to you, it is time to seriously evaluate where your life went wrong and why experiencing an inevitable death in an on-line game shatters your ego. That right there is why it involves me, and why that is the answer. Now if you're talking doing it without names, then it sounds like a great idea. Without names is fine. Bragging rights only.

Don't really say why you keep saying No when it doesn't really involve you in any way or threaten the zone population. It's a level headed and respectful way for pilots to settle grudge's... it's just a game.. we don't have to involve passwords... think of it as an event to shut people up that's all.

Hi guys, so this came to mind recently as I have noticed many "name duel" challenges based on 4v4 arguments. A few pilots were discussing if name duel's are rightful settlers of grudges between pilots who start arguing over 4v4 games... so... this is what I suggest. Let's say Pilot A challenges Pilot B to a name duel. Instead of a 1 on 1 duel, the 2 challengers fight 4v4 with other players who have signed up to participate. Let's say there is a pool of 20 people who sign up... Pilot A and Pilot B will have a coin toss to determine who picks first. At this point, each pilot will get to pick 1 player per turn until there is a complete game of 4v4. The password of Pilot A and Pilot B will be held by a ref and the winner of the match will get the other pilots name. I think this will be the most fair way to settle 4v4 grudges game style and it's really up to the pilot to pick the right people and determine strategy to win. This popped into my mind after playing PB where you !join to participate in events. This could be an event on Sunday following league or war zone and could be used to settle "grudges".
