I think Russia just want's to make the International Community happy by making a statement about possible sanctions. They also gain some leverage points when they want to discuss their concerns about our missile defense plans. It's not like we pressured them into siding with us on the Iran issue like we did with Turkey. Read some wikileaks cables about it. Smells like another war to me though. I believe that Israel is likely to feel forced to launch a strike if international pressure doesn't halt Iran's quest for nuclear power (and it wont) and then all hell will break loose.

Pnut has a point. If privs are 10max, one team will dominate all week and there will be a lot of crying. Making privs 5 or 6 max seems like a good solution but you will get more than two flagging teams at times and then there will be a lot of crying about flanking. The flanking will give the defenders an advantage

I looked at my online stats and it's pretty embarrassing. Over a 5 year period I am down almost a grand. I couldn't tell you what I am up or down as far as live play goes. I don't track it. I just go home pissed or go to the bar happy and blow my winnings.

what do you guys think of all this? I don't think they are ever going to let Assange back out of jail. Not that it will matter anyway. I'm down for knowing the truth and all but at the same time I think it's a bit irresponsible in today's global climate to disrupt and damage diplomatic relationships between world powers and then piss in a hornets nest by embarrassing their leaders at the same time. It's going to be interesting to watch it all play out. Here is my official prediction: U.S. will eventually charge him with espionage and he will be extradicted. His lawyers will scream 1st Amendment but it won't work. Classified documents will keep getting leaked regardless.

Just wondering if anyone plays poker. I've been playing for about 5 years now. I have a decent variance in live games and a horrible variance online. I also like keeping up with all of the sick degens who play nosebleed stakes online. The amount of money these pros pass back and forth to each other is disgusting. Unfortunately I live in a bible belt state where gambling is illegal (unless you are on a indian reservation) so there is not a lot of constant action going on in my city. This makes it hard to grow a bankroll in a reasonable amount of time which means playing poker for a living really isn't an option here. I could type a good paragraph here but I'll wait to see if any of you have an interest in poker before I get into any lengthy trains of thought about the subject.
