As I was looking at this post,it made me think...who owns subspace.com ? If you got too it..seems to be just a looping site that goes nowhere.Seems counter-productive to the "life" of the game. Thoughts?

Ya know amidst all this,there is one thing I guess I just don't get.How do you ban someone for 12 years from Subspace?I,m sorry but I fail to see the justification. Does Falc like to troll? Well Falc im not sure what you want at this point except for Hoch to give up DSB.However I see no need to drag around the rest of the staff in the undertow.Although I havent played DSB all these years like you guys have,and i'm not sure WHAT the exact contempt for Hoch is,other than you dont agree with his methods.Well enough.However in my short time as DSB staff i can tell you that BeerHunter has done nothing but try to help or encourage me.And what he's saying is kinda obvious guys,at this moment DSB belongs to Hoch..so if he says do this or that..then thats what we have to do.I dont know the whole history,but im pretty sure there's no voting or council set up to make choices or plans.Is that the problem?Again..the point is moot for now... Well let me add a couple of cents as a DSB staffer.Falc I dont even need to go into you're "Legendary" trolling status of DSB.If you play there,you know what "it"is.Although I see your rants as mostly harmless,it can be annoying to some.However lets get to the point.If what you are saying is should the zone be under new management,who or what is your recommendation?It's very easy to critisize people or methods,but on the other hand "what" will replace them?Simply saying I dont like this..or this should have happened instead is not the answer.This topic is obviously not going away,so it's time it was dealt with.Question is...what's the answer?

All very interesting gentlemen,but I logged out of the aforementioned zone and back into DSB after the first fail.All following attempts were made in DSB zone where "most" of the nicks were created.Its not that this is a epic problem,its just the first time it has happened to me in 12 or more years of playin Subspace.Polix is there really a time tag on nicks for playing or not playing?

I just tried to log on to a different zone than i usually played(using another alias),and was prompted to register the nick.As this aroused my curiosity,I tried a couple of my other alias nicks...they too prompted me to re-register them.Anyone know what is going on and WHY this was done?Ive had these for quite sometime,seems a bit reckless to start deleting player-database entries imo.But I'll wait to see the logic behind the madness before I say more.

F.Y.I. just so ya know the "TEA" in Tea party stands for "Taxed Enough Already".On a side note,why do people run for public office? Most positions don't pay all that well,so what is the motive?Someone's idea or view of how they think things should be done might be the initial cause,but what happens over a period of time?To me its mostly P.R. work of someones intentions,not of actual deeds.

Gentlemen,lets not start goin for each other's throats just yet.Both of you have valid points,and justification for whatever you want to do creatively,just as anyone in Subspace does.However I would like to post about things "I" have seen lately in DSB. These points are from the perspective of a Pub Player,and nothing else. What can be done to help raise the zone population of DSB and Subspace in general?HELP new-comers with gameplay.They are very easy to spot.Usually asking "how do i change ships" or "how do i attach" ect.DO NOT rely on them to type ?go tutorial or type ?help and someone will help you(worthless in DSB unless a Op> is present),take a personal interest in making sure this person understands gameplay,and gets the MAXIMUM enjoyment from his/her initial contact with Subspace.Think no one new comes to subspace?WRONG!I myself have helped new people with minor understandings at the rate of 1-2 a week.Often being Chided by people in spec for doing so.If you are setting in spec and doing nothing but chatting and "trying" to act as cool as possible,chances are you wont even know or care if this happens.Bottom line is there is only one reason a person would even log on to a game they dont even play.They are assigning a "importance" to themselves that may not even exist.This is not rocket science people.Get out of spec and play,involve yourself with the actual "playing community" and show some interest in whats really going on.If you want to set on your ASS in spec and rely on automated help and tutorials,and the "coolness" of being someone in said zone,you are headed for EPIC FAIL.
