Hi All, I'm pretty new to these forums, this post will be long and please avoid if you're going to be immature about my rambling... I'm a casual player who used to play a lot. I've played 4 zones DSB/TW/T3Gauntlet/17th. I am a staff member to DSB. I haven't left I guess. I'm kind of just drop by once in a while in DSB, but i participate in the forums more often there. Although I have to agree with some of you about the e-politics. I've noticed a lot of bs in my zone, but I won't say. Also everyone just ages and gets on with their life which makes it busier as I am starting a new life with my fiancee. It's not like I don't like SS anymore I try to play although I haven't logged on in a long time(If I did log on it was probably by accident). I agree the tactics in ss have become dry and boring. People do the same crap everyday. Although I do hope dsb does change a bit I might actually try to play league this year again. Competition has also gone down the drain where only the best player join the best squads. It's getting to the point where I am about to throw it in officially. There are players out there, but the vets at this point are getting to tired to train and start new squads at least in DSB. Although there is a resurgence of new squads with beginner players. There's about 2-3 new squads for beginner players, but the league before there was only 1 and I was on that squad. Last league was probably the worst season I've ever played(not statistically), but the attitude towards my squad was ridiculous. I played 10 out of the 14 or so games. I quit as my captain who was sort of a vet used the wrong name registered(the names were similar except the one registered had "TIE>" in front of the name...it's pretty hard to deal with 10 new players before a match and we play 12vs12). The league made us forfeit the game AFTER we finished the game(during halftime he noticed he was on wrong nick he switched back to his name and his ip was checked to be the same person) and we got -3 points off our score. Our score was +1 and ended up being -2 after the game(being +1 was a big deal to me, you do not get negative points for losing). After I argued with higher up staff members that it wouldn't change our position in league(last place) and the squad that beat us would still get their point either way. My argument was that the bot and ref checks names, but for some reason let him play. Anywho after this incident I kind of got discouraged in playing ss. Although I must say DSB has made some changes to it's staff and also to it's approach in getting new squads to play. I might try again this year in the 12 vs 12 league. Sorry for the long rambling.
