I don't know if I'm a veteran (I do play 17th for almost 3 years), but I've thought about quitting 17th many times, especially after the old Jav was crippled to a piece of -*BAD WORD*-. The problem of 17th Staff is that they don't listen to what the players have to say. They do what they want to do, while they should listen to what THE PLAYERS have to say. Without the players, there is no 17th. So why not concentrating a little more on the things we want and a little less on what YOU want?

Mak/Prem, you're both right. Just look at DSB. It has multiple pubs in the max # of players. They have a great pub, a pub with a mission. Lock everyone out and get all 100 flags. If you can keep them for 5 mins, you get a huge jackpot. This is a tactic that works, just look at the # of players they have. Every ship has it's mission, and that doesn't count for 17th.

We've had this before, and personally, I liked it. It's a good idea. Nah, the weasel is lame enough right now. Why would you give it antiwarp? It has no use. Upgraded bombs? A Levi with Lvl 4 Bombs? Gtfo. Upgraded bullets sound good, though. Then it'd be just like in the old days when the powerball gave you upgraded bullets. We've had this before, too. Although I like the idea, Nurples removed this option from the bot, because he said 'The bot spams enough already'. Too bad, but he's the boss Rockets are of little use, and no ship has them. So why add them now? Bounce greenable sounds good, rockets however aren't used by any ship in 17th. Nah, let's not. The words 'noob', 'newb' or 'newbie' are in no way reasons to silence people for it. There is an option called '?ignore playername', maybe you should try that. I've banned people for making racist comments when I was Mod, so don't whine about that. That would be abused. In SSCU DSB LEAGUE, the last season, DSBL5, that was enabled. Now, in DSBL6, it is removed, probably because it was being abused, letting your squaddies spec players of the opposing team and telling them their energy, specials left etc. Yeah, Mario Kart rocks in TW. It's a good event. <3

1050 with the old Terrier. I've had 148-0 in WarBird without quitting/speccing, it was higher than 1050 (I don't know the exact bounty, I lost the screenshot).

Ma+rix created Tankwars, one of the better events in 17th. Unfortunately it's never hosted.

I never complained about the old Weasel. In fact, I even used it once in a while, so I don't really care. I like the old Weasel way better than the current one.

If you don't like the Jav then don't post on this friggin topic. You can't see the difference because you don't play long enough. I play this zone for over 2.5 years so I can tell the differences.

liez. There ARE no differences in the jav now, thats what vile has been trying to say! Sometimes it affects people and they suck at certain events in the same ship, and sometimes you have bad days ~shrug~ Haha, Killa. You're not listening, are you? 1 or 2 weeks ago, the old Jav was put back in Rumble. My recs were all good. The week after, the new Jav was back. My recs weren't exactly great. There WERE differences, and THOSE are the differences I'm talking about. About the old Jav and the new one.

The map is too big for 17th's Population. It's a map purely based on the soccer game, while there are a lot of fighters. I don't think this map will work, if only because ti's just too big. We've used this map before, and I recall it wasn't a success.
