  10. Woah woah, calm down! You know I won't listen to anyone regardless of what Stibby says. Player ships having somewhat of a static recognizable identity is a primary goal. Switching your guns or whatever every spawn is not desirable to that end. In the future this mechanic may operate somewhat different with warehouse/dequiping, but by then we'd have more items too. Cue Gar. Warehouse? As in, a storage for items bought? I'll wait patiently for that.

  15. Okay Turret wars was a two - three Captain game. Where the captains where given a lanc in the zone 'events' Their teams consisted of 5 players each and then they were attached to the captain, whose job it was to avoid enemy shots while simultaneously having his/her team fire back. You gained points for killing the enemy team. Most point wins. Then, of course, you have MVP lanc, MVP Leviathan. Etc. (no picture. But you dont need a map for this one. Just an arena where their is enough space and no obstacles [like events] for this one to work)

  17. I'm not to sure of why guns and bomb prices were increased. Arnk said it was BECAUSE people would change their weapons repeatedly. Which I said was a good thing because it gave ships diversity. I just didn't follow the logic. Shouldn't gun diversity and change be a good thing? But, I could be wrong. So I said in my OPINION (Which most people think is a fact :\) Sell prices should be brought back to the way they were and addon / emitter prices could be increased to make up the "difference" Just from my viewpoint, people were making money to easily with the Sell prices being the same. (Sorry for the abscurity.)
  18. EDIT :: I had a lengthy post about how your wrong for accusing me this and also why I would HATE being a mod. But your to pathetic for me to argue with. Please, be professional and mature enough NOT to post a reply to this because you certainly are an annoying little kid. And, I was saying that people need to realize that this is a a free game. therefore, mods don't have to give a care about the game. I was saying, that gar needed to add feedback, because if not, no mod was going to waste his/her time thinking up better ideas if they have a project .(which they do) EDIT :: So thanks for mis-reading my post. :\
  19. Ahh Bingo, totally agree with Gar here, these are the types of posts I was expecting to see here, however this one covers quite a few ideas. Mmkay ( A ) Bountying = Bad for the zone = Removed Pros :: More basing, Less Centering. More work for money, More interest in game. Stops maxed out ships from griefing center and getting richer Cons :: Less centering. More work for money. My opinion :: Removing Bounty was not only a smart move, it was a good move. ( B ) Mini = Ruining Zone = Expanded / now impossible to defend without the amount of people it would take to defend ANY base. Pros :: Less centering more basing. Less people bountying in mini. More 'dogfight' combat in center. Cons :: Not noob friendly for dogfighting. Ships 3,4, 7 pointless in center now. more people sitting in spec. My opinion :: Not so smart of a move, but only time will tell... ( C ) Raising sell prices of guns and bombs = Causing cash flow and more balanced fighting and more diversity of ships with constant gun/bomb changing = Sell prices dropped. Pros :: People smarter with cash thats hard earned in center. Cons :: Less diversity, Same gun choices as when it was reduced sell prices (i.e. only positron for sig gun, i.e. only shredder for non-sig gun) Ships no longer have personality. My opinion :: Bad idea. Sell prices should be the same for guns and bombs and prices of addons and the like should be increased. I think that the equal sell prices allowed diversity and gave players a much more flexible feel for in-game fighting through gun "personality" Also, Isn't Hyperspace NOT supposed to go back to the way it used to be? Always moving forward? Why the sudden decision to turn back when it benefits nobody? ( D ) Flag Change from 5 to 20. = Less basing = Already being discussed by mods. Buuuttttt.... 10 FLAGS!!!! (ANNNDDD) ( E ) Please don't waste mods times by just complaining and not giving feedback by saying HOW it could be made better. EDIT :: Kilo, we know your working. Just don't listen to these ungrateful, NONPAYING (I may add) people online. You all know you are... I hate pointing fingers GAR *Cough Cough* (Jk Gar, learn to loosen up :\)
  20. That's the only reason? I could name MULTIPLE good reasons to keep it in. Besides, who cares if peope keep changing guns and bombs, that gives their ships personality and change.

    They were for awhile. And then Doc swopped in and said that they were offering no more warnings. To Gar :: Be grateful that Rare even warned you. Your lucky when ANY mod warns you instead of just bans you.
  22. Why make bombs and gun sell prices back to the way they were? It seems impractical to do so, except to stop people fomr changing guns and bombs multiple times.
  23. No mods host enough. That or you are teaching him when there SHOULD be a hosting happening.
