Wewt, people in my forum. EDIT: Req, What's the diffrence?
-
Thank you, Arnk does butt in and therefore cannot ask others not to.

This is a topic for opinions, not to bash mods :\ Also, I believe requiem specified WHICH old system he was tlkaing about in parenthesis.

Before we answer this question, we must distinguish five questions that are often confused. First, there is the question of whether something exists or not. A thing can exist whether we know it or not. Second, there is the question of whether we know it exists. (To answer this question affirmatively is to presuppose that the first question is answered affirmatively, of course; though a thing can exist without our knowing it, we cannot know it exists unless it exists.) Third, there is the question of whether we have a reason for our knowledge. We can know some things without being able to lead others to that knowledge by reasons. Many Christians think God's existence is like that. Fourth, there is the question of whether this reason, if it exists, amounts to a proof. Most reasons do not. Most of the reasons we give for what we believe amount to probabilities, not proofs. For instance, the building you sit in may collapse in one minute, but the reliability of the contractor and the construction materials is a good reason for thinking that very improbable. Fifth, if there is a proof, is it a scientific proof, a proof by the scientific method, i.e., by experiment, observation, and measurement? Philosophical proofs can be good proofs, but they do not have to be scientific proofs. I believe we can answer yes to the first four of these questions about the existence of God but not to the fifth. God exists, we can know that, we can give reasons, and those reasons amount to proof, but not scientific proof, except in an unusually broad sense. There are many arguments for God's existence, but most of them have the same logical structure, which is the basic structure of any deductive argument. First, there is a major premise, or general principle. Then, a minor premise states some particular data in our experience that come under that principle. Finally, the conclusion follows from applying the general principle to the particular case. In each case the conclusion is that God exists, but the premises of the different arguments are different. The arguments are like roads, from different starting points, all aiming at the same goal of God. Aww, I was online during this and didn't say anything until after he left. q.q LoL, Misty, he's jsut a troll. Don't worry about it. Besides, we here at ss love you.

You've still got it wrong, You're not suggesting WHAT kind of item they are. Your just listing names for mods to think over when they have a new item. i.e. Arnk needs a new sublight name He goes to this forum and scrolls and maybe sees a name he likes Then you log on a week later and see "JEDLIK DYNAMO" as a sublight.

[roll eyes]We are definetly trying to become mods. That's TOTALLY the point of this thread. [/roll eyes] The direction of this forum was meant to bring awareness to the lack. The lack has been picking up greatly as we get closer to the summer, which is why this topic SHOULD have died a few weeks ago. also, racing is easy I usually place 3rd or higher during a 10 + people race. Usually I dont get past 5th. Although Arnk there got me in 6th when he hosted a little while ago, around the time I stopped playing, with his rocket. The events at hyperspace ARE fun, its just mods dont usually like to host them often Events like -Dodge -Paint -Turretwars -HYPERBALL -HotPocket And that one game with the leviathans shooting down at players attempting to reach the end (snipers I believe)

Just post your pictures here. Pictures of yourself, pictures of you and friends, or pictures of w/e you really want. As long as it stays with the rules. you need to embed the images in the thread (no links) --- Addendum by Samapico: Please avoid quoting a picture that is on the same page, it's useless and takes space. Simply replace the img tag in the quote with a short description of the pic so we know what you're talking about --- Rules :: Obv But... NO - * Pornographic, violent or otherwise offensive images, language etc. This may include racist remarks, slander etc... * links to, or use your signature to link to pages that contain objectionable material. This includes, warez, cracks, pornography, pyramid schemes, referral ID's, ebay listings and requesting donations. * signature links of a malicious nature. e.g. those that crash your browser, trigger popup floods or emulate BSOD's. * insulting other players pictures or harassing others for looks, or likewise. Thank you. Have fun

A better question would be "Tigron, how do you know what you know?" Is it possible for someone to know they know the truth, The answer is no. Unless that person was specifically there, then they cannot possible know the truth, besides, even being there the person would just take it the way they thought it to be, and that doesn't make it true either. Basically your screwed either way. Also, For those of you argueing that the bible is "true" Allow me to point out that parts of the bible have yet to happen (i.e. apocolypse) Therefore, since it has not happened yet, it cannot be proven true NOR false. EDIT:: jesus did drugs? Rofl. That's why he looks like a damn hippie without the peace signs.

It doesn't matter if they believe the true Christian God because probably no-one does. The only true Christian was Jesus. I absolutely agree with this statement. Everybody, even preachers for the churches, always have some doubt.

I doubt we would even rank on the technology side of the world just because we lost our fire. We had it going on in the 70s... but in the 80s it began to slow and by the 90s we werent doing anything. once a country grows content with everything it has, it stops growing. it tries everything to keep everything the same way its always been instead of changing into something perhaps better and after trying so hard to keep it all the same it crumbles. look around, do you think America is growing anymore? We need change, thats the whoe reason obama is as popular as he is. We need to stop being so dependent on oil and get some alternatives. hell we need alternatives for everything. We've tried to keep everything the same for so long now that we've grow complacent. its time for a change.

Replace brick with alcohol intoxication. I guess you don't have a problem now? Or at least most people don't. There would still be laws against driving intoxicated (drugs/alcohol). It would still be a same point if you were intoxicated. If you crashed into NBV he would still be effected. If your drunk brain told you that you should drink until your near dead due to alcohol poisoning and NBV's taxes paid for you to live. Your still effecting him. The brick was symbolism, meaning drugs, or something that was intense against your head. ___ Also, I think the Government putting taxes on drugs is foolish. That would mean that by selling the drugs themselves, owning and using the drugs would no longer make someone a criminal. The only laughable thing I see out of this is that the first person to die from drugs will just sue the government for selling them in the first place just because they can now point the blame at someone.

What are you talking about? I host like every day, if not 2. yes rivel. Around 2:00 pm usually, when noone is really online except for the people who dont have schooling. I have my college classes around then, sometimes I'm lucky to be on during your hosts. Yes rivel, I know you also hsot in the evenings, dont take it liek im attacking you. I KNOW YOU HOST. it's just you guys cant be on ALL the time, I was just trying to lessen the strain (as was, i believe requiem) of mods having to host.

Most of the time, i wish i could help other then just passing notecards around. I did some posters and stuff and posted them around school. Those posters took me 9+ hours to draw, color, design, and get permission to place around school. Sicne then, I've actually had 3 people join hyperspace and another 5 join into Extreme games. Again, I really wish I could help code or write up scripts for the game but i don't know how. I would love to learn, andI tried to recently, but, it just didn't stick and I didnt have a teacher I could go ask questions when I was confused. I can only do python, html, and some small C+ stuff, which makes me good for absolutly nothing at all. EDIT:: gabba gur gur taught me how to make bots through java a few years ago. Chambs, but for the record, noone wants to teach anyone here fucking anything. I ask around in the ss community for help with coding bots or w/e and I get blown off. I have to go to the forums to even ask and hope for an answer. It's jsut stupid. Awhile ago I asked -SOMEBODY- on Hyperspace for help coding a bot and got blown off, everyone I asked was either "too busy" or "get lost, kid" Just about anyone I asked about coding online was "Your so fucking stupid" Noone wants to help, not because they cant, but because they dont feel like it. its not because the best programmers ever have left or dont play anymore, it just that the new generation doesn't even care.

@ syrus 17th, I quit for awhile after 17th died. It wasn't, like stated, that I had moved on or just grew bored. It just didn't make sense to pick up and go to a new zone. I came back about 3 years ago and started playing Hyperspace, which is now my favorite and choice zone. I'm guessing that if Hs dies, I'll be gone from Continuum for the next couple of years or so. No sense going to a zone that i wont even like.
