Imo it is unnecessary to have so many jrmods. They're pretty much useless other than to degrant people. Also, the no swearing rule should just be taken out. Like any other online game there should just be a censor in place and an anti-harassment rule. If anyone is actually offended by any in game swearing thats actually directed at someone, they can report it. For God's sake, elementary school kids swear more than the rest of us do nowadays anyway. All of this nonsense about debating over swearing and degrants is just a waste of time and energy.

No, I meant that only the better players will get to play at all. Since a team is 5-7 players like you said. For instance if 25 players showed up, 11 would not get to play and therefore would not get any points. And usually the players who don't get picked will be the same ones over and over.

Wouldn't captains continuously just pick the best players? They'd be the ones accumulating all the points and the rest of the players wont get any at all, regardless of whether they show up or not.

Maybe if you played you would understand. You want to be able to read movements to predict armor? That sounds so extremely pro and all, but put it into practice and you will lose. At this point, for centering ships, there is no emitter more important than energy scanner. What would you need to center? Inertial, or combat sensors. Both are useful in far less circumstances than energy scanner is. I do agree that it should be moved to addon.

Proves how bad you are at this game. How can you accurately keep track of energy without knowing your enemies armor and other ship sets? And in upper-tier dueling, 10 energy is enough to make a huge difference and is impossible to keep track of through estimation. Energy scanner is one of the most OP items in the game.

I haven't seen this work. The majority of players are too stupid or uncoordinated to schedule a match and see it through with another player. The only ones I've seen work are MWarrior's and Masaru's, which had set times and the tournament was completed in one day, within 2 hours. Imo, announce a time for the tourney that you feel is reasonable to the most people, and just allow signups at that time. They pay half an hour before hand, you set up a bracket, and the tourney begins. Anything more complicated than that, due to experience from the past, probably will not be seen through.

Imo do a euro league and a US league, then winners face off for championships. Sort of like west and east conferences.

Well you cant really say the bases are imba until a few weeks into the reset. We'll have to wait and see. For now though, defending seems to be FAR easier than attacking.
