  2. Are you sure most of them aren't (undercover) bots?
  3. hm true, that would be a problem
  4. Maybe a stricter spam restriction for :#Squad: messages would be a good idea while keeping it open for anyone. Another idea (or maybe I'm just repeating something): how about getting the chat with the name of the squad automatically protected only for squad members of the specific squad? This would prevent the need of a bunch of extra commands (and code) for owning a specific chat (also prevents problems of a single player owning a bunch of chat names while he doesn't own the squad).

  6. Do we also already know that sent ?messages are saved or not?
  7. Incorrect, the mirror has a newer version then the one you have, Resol. Visit http://aibot.ss-network.net
  8. Still loads of subdomains and space available.
  9. Bjorn's one is mirrored here (as much as possible); http://aibot.ss-network.net/ It's a mirror I put up after the original one went down. Unfortunately I was unable to recover all the files of the original website.
  10. I think it's a good thing, finally some more communication. Just too bad it couldn't be put onto SSForum, it would've made a perfect match for SSForum being the central forum for Continuum.
  11. oh I got it when looking at the thread listing of this forum
  12. I'm pretty confused with all this but it's probably only me. Anyone care to explain? Where is this new forum? Why don't you use the one here at ssforum?
  13. Attaching referenced file cont32.diff for future reference.cont32.diff.txt
  14. Have you made sure that before scanning with Spybot Search&Destroy you updated the definitions? Have you run the scan again? is it a popup to the same website each time? (Stupid question: isn't the popup caused by your default website defined in the browser settings?) Have you checked at the bottom of the popup if there's a link to uninstall? (yes, some somewhat more legal adware have a way to uninstall it cleanly)
  15. You have to set a different browser as default to override using Internet Explorer when clicking links. You can't really turn off IE completely as it's quite integrated in Windows. You say that you are having problems with Internet Explorer because of advertising screens (amongst other things). It seems you are infected with Ad-ware and/or trojans. I strongly suggest to disinfect using an anti-virus scanner and/or Spybot Search&Destroy. If you don't disinfect properly, you will keep having problems with any (other) browser.
  16. I'm wondering if it's possible to convert flash graphics to svg then?
  17. General Bot - all my mervbot plugins are open sourced
  18. I have shown your website to my co-workers who are having a big laugh on the pictures
  19. que, stated on snurrb's website, Continuum 0.40 can't be unpacked properly. Only Continuum 0.38 can be unpacked successfully so you have to stick with that. rootbear, it's snurrb.
  20. I like the table one too with the same reasons stated above.
  21. lol rootbear, calm down que, you can unpack Continuum 0.38 (and partially Continuum 0.39pr1). You'll be helping lot of people (in the future) if you can find out what's causing the problem. Read more about unpacking (with a program named UnPeX) at http://sharvil.nanavati.net/projects/subspace/unpex.html
  22. I believe this has been tried in The Netherlands aswell but I haven't heard anything from it since it was on the news about a year ago.
  23. I watched your video and you never checked or killed Continuum processes that are still running. Make sure that no Continuum processes are active in memory (use the task manager) before trying out things like disabling software. If there is already a Continuum process active, Continuum won't start up for the second time since it has protection not to allow multiple Continuum clients run at the same time. Have you tryed running an older Continuum client, like Continuum 0.38 and Continuum 0.39pr1? If both of these work then something new added to Continuum 0.40 is causing your problem. Since we "know" what has changed per version, you can narrow down your search for the problem.
  24. I don't think so because you can't specify more then 10 chat names on the ?chat= line.
  25. Stolen from TW Forum: Type ;;10; <text> to talk on the 10th chat (even though it looks like it's entered on the first chat). http://forums.trenchwars.org/showthread.php?t=33769
