I watched your video and you never checked or killed Continuum processes that are still running. Make sure that no Continuum processes are active in memory (use the task manager) before trying out things like disabling software. If there is already a Continuum process active, Continuum won't start up for the second time since it has protection not to allow multiple Continuum clients run at the same time. Have you tryed running an older Continuum client, like Continuum 0.38 and Continuum 0.39pr1? If both of these work then something new added to Continuum 0.40 is causing your problem. Since we "know" what has changed per version, you can narrow down your search for the problem.
