  1. I meant if they legalize that stuff, what would our nations youth turn out to be? A bunch of idiots (not that some already arent) and then what would we do in the future? All great civilizations collapse and we are given something like 50% chance of surving the next 76 years i think, dont know where i got that.
  2. whether you like it or not, the rules the government set up are for our benefit. They arent trying to screw us over in everything they pass if they legalized cigerrates, booze, drugs to everyone at any age we would collapse as a nation.
  3. What does "its america" have to do with anything. If anything since its after 9-11 the security has been stepped up dramatically. Back where i live every night at all the hydro dams there are police now on top patrolling.
  4. what does rednecks have to do with anything? What would they do in the first place? clean the toilets and somehow cause a meltdown?
  5. Why would the security guard have the key?
  6. Random instrumental jams? Not necessarily, im sure they arent just something random, it takes alot of time to make a cd and im sure the artist doesnt want -*BAD WORD*- on it, they want what they think is good stuff.
  7. I can see wher your getting at but its all depends on the listener. People have different opinions on what are the good songs and the bad songs are. It also depends on how much the listener likes that genre of music, some people may just buy the cd for 1 song, but there are always the hit single cd of that band that can be bought. It would be better if all the songs were hits, but, its pretty much impossible. All cds have good and bad songs on it, and its usually because the artists have a deadline to reach, so they get rushed.
  8. Alot of CDs on the market do have special features put on them, simply put them into your CD Rom drive and explore the CD. They dont really tell anyone of them mostly because its an easter egg you have to find for yourself.
  9. mp3.com is a web site that simply lets you stream songs, and the site is right a site like that will benefit the music industry because mp3.com lets you also download songs for money. http://www.nwfusion.com/newsletters/filesh...2/01626615.html heres a site saying p2p is hurting sales.
  10. Prove to me that P2P improves sales for the music industry.
  11. When you said that then posted that site http://plato.stanford.edu/entries/free-rider/ , i thought you were trying to relate the two topics you wrote down.
  12. http://plato.stanford.edu/entries/free-rider/ do you not know how to scroll up or remember a site you posted?
  13. That site doesnt prove it actually is improving sales. For larger bands, it isnt going to improve their sales. For smaller bands, it will help them bring their tracks into the world and people will buy their songs but it wont last.
  14. not necessary, they could just download a whole cd or the songs they only like. P2P isnt goign to improve sales.
  15. Most musicians are in it for the money because they have the talent and the skills to outperform other musicians in whatever genre they are in. Some take music up for a job like in the orchestra, choir, beats and etc. You wouldnt get what you hear today if they were not getting paid, most of them deserve the money they make because of the devotion they put into it and the risk too. I admit, i use kazaa because i cannot pay for cds all the time but whenever i scrounge up enough dough i do go buy a cd i like. But it is stealing and it is hurting the musicians since the ones that are in a big record label take their huge fair of the money made by the artists signed under them.
  16. Silk

    bush = lie

    Its still good though
  17. Because like you said in your post, MOST people not everyone who would buy it will not since P2P is easier.
  18. You could call Spec Hunting cheating but its part of the game. Some zones let you ?spec to see who is watching you.
  19. Shops with bongs and other drug stuff do get shut down.
  20. Dont think so...
  21. Also, theya re making things people are willing to pay for, but with P2P it isnt necessary to if someone just wants one song and dont want to buy a single track.
  22. People in the US think everyone in Iraq is a terrorist. Untrue, not once has Iraq done anything against the US. Its all lies, the Government is looking for an excuse to simply test their technology they have. And there is no proof of Saddam funding terrorists. Then the Bush administration says Saddam is a bad man, even though he is look at Fidel and what he does. Only reason we stopped trying to kill him was because when Russia set up missile capable of hitting US.
  23. I believe a radio station has to pay every time they play a song, heard some DJ saying something about a song they played costing 50cents every time, and when you consider every radio station in the USA and every time they play the song (some several times a day) it all adds up.
  24. But who causes those other problems?
