Welp, I updated the BIOS and it didn't fix it. So I just wound up buying a new video card. I discovered $175 in American Express Gift Cards in my room, and bought a GeForce GTX 550Ti for $173 (hella expensive, but he said he'd waiver the $ for workhours they spent trying to fix my computer, and install everything for free... figured y not, not like it was coming out of my pocket). Everything's working fine except my network adapter. I think I need to buy a new one because it might not work with 64-bit windows. When I first installed windows 7 64-bit I was using a USB wireless adapter. But in the process of moving, I think it was thrown out. Oops! So, if anyone wants to buy a perfectly fine GeForce 9800 GTX/GTX+ video card for $50 (was $300, and it's still a VERY GOOD CARD even in today's standards), I do accept PayPal. (The video card works fine, just not with my motherboard apparently). My mobo is an ASUS P5N-D
