I would if I had an xbox 360

well worth $15 imho. Fun to go to bars with some friends, try em out, and drink some ales. Seriously, triple hops, pale ales and the like taste like chocolate milk shakes! I've tried it!

I mentioned this in another thread and someone had asked a question about these. So instead of bringing that thread off-topic I thought I'd make a seperate one. Yea man, these things rock. With alcohols that contain sugar or bitters, it makes the drinks taste like candy. No joke. Like freaking candy. Think of unsolidified jello. Drinking that is what drinking tequila is like. http://www.thinkgeek.com/images/products/front/ab3f_miracleberry_fruit_tablets.jpg http://www.thinkgeek.com/caffeine/wacky-edibles/ab3f/?cpg=froogle Dissolve half a tablet on your tongue and sour and bitter foods will taste sweet Flavor-bending effects can last up to 1 hour No harmful side effects (other than wanting more) Each tablet is 3/8" in diameter and is two servings (10 tablets/20 servings per box) Take 1/2 a tablet - or take a whole one for a more intense experience Ingredients: Miracle Berry powder and corn starch - nothing else!

Almost entirely irrelevant to my specific case and situation. I have no doubt that this was automated or copy-and-paste from a standard and basic reply list. In the mean time, Facebook advertisements will run for 48 hours with a daily budget of $50 and a CPM bid of $0.12. Expect something to show up in the Google Analytics radar for getcontinuum.com. Ask to speak directly with a manager, tell them you got charged for more than 10 times of your daily budget. I'm sure you'll get a fast reply. As a side note, tequila fucking rocks with Miracle Berry tablets. http://www.miracleberrypill.org/

I'll try that out when i get home

i don't have skeletons in my closet guys, i have a DOS PC in there. http://img521.imageshack.us/img521/4364/compaqpc.gif ^ That's actually the EXACT same model I have

I actually have a 3.1 sitting in my closet. I usually use it as a door stopper when I'm moving furniture/groceries in, but i'll check it out tonight lol. highly doubt it'll work though. hope floppy still works

I think there's a setting somewhere that's not set correctly, or there's something about this that we just don't understand. The daily budget has been exceeded in the past - albeit only by a few tens of cents, regardless, the limit doesn't stop the ads from going over the daily budget. I think you should contact support and tell them what happened, and hopefully get reimburst? You did set the daily budget to 3.50/day but you ALSO made the CPC 3.50. (wouldn't that result in only one click?) Regardless of those two settings it shouldn't have gone over the budget. *Also I'd like to note, you set daily budget to $3.50 and it stopped at $34.17 - possible that you made a typo and put 35.00?

That's what I thought you meant

SSCU Trench Wars is accepting sign-ups for the Basing World Cup! Sign up now at BWC.SIGNUP.LINK SSCU Trench Wars is about to begin the Basing World match at X:YZ! Come catch the action! OTHER ZONE is going to begin the SPECIAL EVENT at X:YZ today. Be there or be square! Wouldn't this add more productivity to the zones as well?

I tried to avoid this topic at all costs because I thought it generally wasn't a good idea. Dr. Brain made a good point about it not really increasing any population and it could eventually lead to the destruction of continuum as a whole should it take place. I never really thought about any additional ideas for this one in general jab, but I have a suggestion now that L.C.'s ad campaign is in full swing. Why not allow any (AUTHORIZED) staff member from their respective zone to "Buy" (like $10) a SSC-wide zone message/Advertisement [whether it be for a big, special event, or just saying come on over], and have 100% of that money go to L.C.'s Ad Fund? This would nullify Dr. Brain's theory and also amplify the chance of getting new members by adding money to the fund. Of course, limiting a "cool-down" on how many times a zone can advertise themselves (like once a day at MAX) would definately be a suggestion to limit too many zone messages that would kind of annoy players at times. I think some of the smaller zones that are trying to increase their zone's population could grab on to this and use it. It would definitely help the advertisement for their zone in particular, as well as help the ad fund to get more players on continuum as a whole. Dr. Brain, would you pay $10 to do an SSC-wide message to increase your own zone's population, as well as help L.C.'s Ad Fund to get more users playing the game? Volunteering staff members could also do this on a rotated schedule, maybe 1 staff member a week/every other week (if they're willing?) Thoughts?

Ok, was just a suggestion

I've never been bothered by them. I don't know anyone else's experience, but I think they're rather easy to see. It's just a few letters to type then bam.

update: i think that's just a placeholder: http://wisestartupblog.com/starting-up/grooveshark-goes-down-for-maintenance-cute-panda-in-its-place/1986/

Sorry but I'm going to have to go back a couple posts. I've got some important questions/suggestions. Would it be possible for you to add a captcha image verification to download the installer? This would do three beneficial things: 1) Lowers bandwidth usage 2) Help us get a more accurate reading on REAL downloads 3) Display a more professional approach to the game to new players. Also, if what you say is true, then L.C. did indeed set up the "Goals" incorrectly (THIS IS A GOOD THING). Google was displaying that the client was never reached/downloaded but your information contradicts that information. *whipes brow* Thanks
-
in fact, there were like 10 Wii users as well, overall thanks freakmonger
-
Then I'd like to see how many times the client was d/led from 12/11/09 to current date, if anyone can post that please
-
Well, here's to hoping you set it up incorrectly. *tips glass* Is it possible for the website owner to check how many times the client itself was downloaded, even if it's not checking to see if it's related to the google adwords? Also, not sure if you looked, but I think most of our clicks might be from spiders. Regardless, we've had some visitors stay and browse through the site for a few minutes. Check it out: http://img32.imageshack.us/img32/8259/visitx.jpg That's 176 people that have stayed on getcontinuum for more than 10 seconds. I feel like my money was well-invested. **** Getcontinuum is also getting returning visitors! http://img138.imageshack.us/img138/7913/returns.jpg

that sucks man!
-
Can anyone give an update on how many times the client was downloaded in the past week?

Stellar Frontier, although made in 1995, was officially released in 1997 by Stardock.

The only reason God ever came into fruition is because people needed an explaination for something that they couldn't understand. For instance, the Sun, the Moon, the Grass, the Rain, the Water, the Wind, and Fire. Nobody knew how these things worked at the time and considered them to be controlled by a God. Each one had their own creator, until it was all debunked. Just watch, when scientists finally prove God doesn't exist you'll all be sitting down and wondering why you hadn't thought of that before. Although your time worshipping your religion isn't time wasted, I'm sure you've had fun and had life changing experiences, but the belief that a mystical entity created everything is just as ludicrous as Apollo (God of the Sun) flying over the sky every day to give us warmth and light. Brb, getting my fire-retardant uniform.

I'll take a WILD guess it's software that overlaps whatever's on your current screen. If you're typing out japanese stuff then you probably have some type of software that would do that.
