I put together some maps using RCP's custom generator to show the three possible outcomes. Likely Results: http://img529.imageshack.us/img529/6247/elec1ud4.jpg McCain win: http://img530.imageshack.us/img530/6940/elec2gn8.png This one relied on a lot of very unrealistic choices, just to get McCain over the top. This !@#$%^&*umes no Independents are in the race, and also a reversal of momentum for Obama. Obama Landslide: http://img243.imageshack.us/img243/840/elec3ez2.png This one !@#$%^&*umes that Barr continues to gain strength, McCain continues to flounder, and McKinney doesn't hurt Obama that much. Both Texas and Georgia (the most unlikely ones for him to win) are within 10 points barring Independents, and, at the current time, when Independents are included Obama polls within a few points of McCain. Arizona is another that is rather surprising at first glance, but it's actually a close match. Montana and North Dakota are both fairly supportive of Libertarian ideals, and Obama's close anyway - I'd say Montana's guaranteed, but North Dakota's a good bet. Missouri and Florida are close to tipping point, and I've read that Florida's seeing a major boost in new Democratic registrations, which in my view, lands it in the Obama wish-list under ordinary conditions, and in the win column when you add Barr. I could have thrown Mississippi in, but I believe that his "black advantage," to use a rude term, will be counteracted by the poor and heavily rural nature of the state. He's also 12 points behind at last glance, and Barr is unlikely to have any effect in that particular state. The third choice is actually more believable than the second, unless something major (such as a terrorist attack, or a Bush-organized terror-level jerking campaign ) occurs within the next 3 months. It'd certainly be a little surprising to see the Lone Star state secede from Jesusland, but you never know. Personally, I'd put my money on somewhere between the Likely and the Obama Landslide options, because he could swing potentially swing Florida or North Carolina in any case. Still, not a very uplifting message for McCain, overall. edit - Fixed.

Keep in mind that some people (including Jesse Helms, who was widely lauded on conservative blogs after his death) still believe in those things. And, as ridiculous as a lot of this modern !@#$%^&* is, there are still legitimate issues, such as contraception. I'm sure you've heard about Bush's plan to declare several widely used contraceptive methods "abortion", thus paving the way for a ban if McCain is elected and (as he has promised to do) stacks the Supreme Court to overturn Roe v. Wade?

Dark Nexus is a !@#$%^&*.

LOL jds. But, root.. I honestly wouldn't waste my time. The housing market is still under a lot of pressure, and some banks are saying it could slide for 2-3 more years. You'd be doing them a favor by going for that, even under "reduced rent." You can get an apartment cheaper than that, and it should fill any needs (my family managed to find a $500/month that was quite comfortable for 5 people). That's an especially good deal if you actually have savings and know what your job's going to be and where you're going to live, because, !@#$%^&*uming you finish college with some savings, you should be able to lay out enough to buy a nice house before the housing market bubbles again.

No offense here, but if you can afford to get an internet connection fast enough that you're selling bandwidth to people, can't you afford a license?
-
No offense, but my "Just wanna be friends" post (alas, now gone due to technical reasons) was way better than that.

!@#$%^&*, that pic brings back memories of trying to load a 1000x1000 image on my old comp and watching it crash.

I've always wondered what you could do with a woman right after delivery. Fortunately, I've always puked before I could figure it out.

That reminded me of the old DOS-games where they'd have something in the credits / readme near the end. Of course, ROTT did it best - you could laugh for 15 minutes with it. Also reminds me of pointlessly making directories just so I could C:\I\A\M\C\O\O\L\

Nobody can crush root, it's physically impossible.

Why did everybody Spoiler! --Click here to view--think the movie would end after he became Two-Face? I wasn't under that impression at all, it would have made no sense to end that soon. "OK, your girl dies, your buddy goes insane, Joker's still out there, there are a bunch of loose ends to tie up... OOPS, TIME FOR THE NEXT MOVIE!" WTF?

Just one more reason why I have 13 international news sources bookmarked. Oh, and by the way, Hoch.. Iran is playing relatively nice with the IAEA. People always forget that Israel, India, Pakistan, South Africa, and North Korea all snuck through nuclear programs without anyone hearing about it.

I'm not trying to start a(nother) flame war here, but how can you not have a girlfriend, yet be dating?

Link And I thought Link was bad. Those Aussie gals sure have a way with animals.

Lol, probably some sort of government-enforced moratorium.

I wonder if he's hotgirl12933? Sure hope not..

I'm sure you meant this to be funny, but it isn't just a "HAHA, LAZY ASSS" story. In a lot of these cases, any mistake (intentional or not) can have a compounding effect over time (and, especially, over generations). For example, her daughter's problem - not having a car. Her mom screwed up, so now she's having a rough time in life. Sure, she's obese. But so are 30% of the rest of the people in this country. And "starvation diets" don't work, they just cause malnutrition and bloating. I don't really have sympathy for the mother, no, but the daughter deserves better. That's a case where government !@#$%^&*istance (cheap education, fuel subsidies, etc) could really make a difference. BTW, don't get started on Christianity, faith-based initiatives are almost always useless in the long term. I could link you to some studies on that if you want me to. -
Zoom zoom, the cops are on the way, root.

I didn't expect it to end at that point, but it was a little disorienting, because I kept thinking "oh, right after this.. no, wait..." And, I was very pissed off that Spoiler! --Click here to view--Two-Face didn't kill Joker and/or survive

Audry, it wasn't supposed to be an insult, just a humorous observation.

He's got God on his side. Duh.

!@#$%^&*uming that he isn't talking about something totally different: Reuters Xinhua BBC I'll find more later.

#1 - Who buys that crap they call "food"? (Perhaps it's actually edible over in Angle-land?) #2 - The pound is only 1.99, stop whining.

You've never talked with Audry, have you? #1 #2 #3 #4 #5

If your going to do that over a game on the internet you clearly have major issues. All of you just drop it. Its immature and a waste of time to argue over the internet. its not just the har!@#$%^&*ment, other things have happened Explain. Did they rob your house? i am not going into it. stuff has been done to me and my friend. Im not doing anything right now, im just letting you guys know if something else happens, I will do what i said Well if your not going to tell then no one can help. And is this friend that Solitron kid? POINTLESS QUOTE TREE WHEE Anyway, sorry to rain on anybodies parade... but... No root, you don't have peoples physical location, full name or any other information other than their ISP just because you have their IP. Also - it's now incredibly easy to proxy your IP on this game... so yeah - that's just an idle threat. -Lynx Why would you want to proxy? It's more fun to pull reverse psychology by pretending you're proxying when you aren't. By the way, hi, I'm from Kyrgyzstan, and boy, is Ferghana hot this time of year.
