  1. By the way Exiili, the safe is not what takes away the bounty you have when you buy ammo, just the action of buying ammo takes it away.

    Isnt that why we have mods? They could control whatever situations that come up. Most of the HS staff don't actively moderate the zone. The only time it'd be moderated properly would be when it's an actual HOSTED event, when the staff are giving it their attention.

    Picking will end up in even more unbalanced teams. One team will have a good captain that picks all the good players (who want to join) while the other team has a bad captain and when he picks good players, they'll say they aren't playing, or even worse, the good players will just cause damage to the team they don't want to be on, until they get kicked out and join the other team.

    that will just degrade basing to 1 large defending priv, and 3-4 different pubs flanking each other PRIVS FTW! I'd rather be on a smaller team of competent players than a swarm of noobs.

  13. I think you were thinking of bullet damage formula (base bullet dmg + bulletup dmg * (gunlevel -1)) once again... look at the bullet nrg forumula... pulse laser's current nrg usage is 22 * 2 = 44
  14. actually mat, plasma cannon nrg usage is 25x3 (75nrg) while pulse is 22x2 (44 nrg). The energy usages are multiplied by the gun level.
  15. Terriers are less maneuverable in the rotation sense too, since it needs nuclear booster to achieve a comparable amount of speed/thrust to the warbird. The javelin's speed/thrust should be brought to the warbird's level.
  16. Just add a 2nd arena with the old settings and see how many ppl start playing again. (Check the Public Arenas post in Zone development)
  17. BTW the dmg/s amounts are wrong and the burn rates are wrong too. the delay is in milliseconds

    The problem with ?shipitems is that it's not aligned so some people may find it uncomfortable.
  19. base dmg doesn't change. inactive shrap is the shrapnel that hits the ship almost immediately after the bomb explodes.

  24. Obviously if we have two arenas with different settings, the ship data will be seperate so that would defeat the purpose of "hopping".
  25. I think that HS should have 2 public arenas to handle the overcrowding that is experienced at the moment. If possible, maybe have one arena with the current settings and another with the old settings (before the reset) and see how it goes.
