Cricket is a good lil company. Their service is all Verizon towers. Also, a lil known secret is that every now and then they run a special in which for like $2/m more you can get the 'nation wide' coverage, which basically means any time you are in an area where they cover, you can use your phone. If you do a lot of travel outside of their coverage area, I would suggest having a Trackphone in your car just incase, however. Their plans are cheap, phones are okay.

You say you have faith in science, but science is commonly proved wrong. Science is also many times 'blind faith'. There are several things in science which cannot be proven, but are known to be true. Therefore...you are the same as any person that believes in a God.

Lynx, for someone that doesnt have 'faith', you sure defend it (being your views) hardcore. Hi, I have never had this problem before I reformatted..its been about 6months-1yr that I have had a desire to install Continuum on my laptop, and now I install it..and the gfx are all messed up. The gfx are all 'inverted' (if you've ever used the feature on windows pic editor). Any help would be appreciated! Confess

Jab, they are right that artificially (at this moment) would kill the game; You cant force anyone to check out another zone. However, you can encourage...But as lynx said, the current zones need to step up their skillz. However, it would be stupid for TW to advertise for a TW clone...etc. But if TW advertised for..lets say, Halo - then it would help Halo.

Jabjabjab's post has some relevance, in that what benefits you will benefit me - It's all in economics. If you can sucessfully manage to keep the players on SS instead of allowing them to leave due to 'loss of interest', then they will attract other players. As it stands, most players do not truly check out other zones then 'major zones', some dont even know how. How often have you tried to get someone to go to your zone, only to find out they don't even know how to go to other zones then ones on their list? This is one problem for new zones - people like their zone they've played in since they've started. If you can 'spread' the population out while keeping the population happy, and letting them have a choice - it will in turn help increase your own population. Of course, the reverse effect can happen too..you can do it so much, that everyone leaves your zone. It requires multiple simultaneous efforts - First off, you must increase the popularity of other zones. Second off, you must advertise and increase Continuum's popularity through: Word of mouth, advertisements, reviews...etc. Example: You're selling candy bars. You need buyers...so, you go out around the neighborhood and sell candy bars. People buy the candy bars because they like chocolate...You go on, to be a very successfuly candy bar seller because people bought your candy...Later on, someone comes knocking on your door - only they are selling magazines...you can either: Buy the magazine, increase their revenue - which will then give them money to buy your candy bars, or not buy the magazine - therefore not allowing their company to grow, and therefore not allowing any money for them to buy your candy bar.

Hm.. I am just now seeing this, and it is intriguing... Has anyone explained to them that no Pay to Pay subspace version has ever worked? If it didnt work for *SONY*, it wont work for rapidshare. Sony is waaayy bigger then rapidshare will ever be. If they would keep the same atmosphere as Continuum currently is, let it be player run it/keep it free/etc...I see no reason to not let this proceed. Odds are, they wont...but hey, its worth a shot. Priit wont devout his life to this game, but this owner of Rapidshare is willing to devout a ton of staff to it.

I can sympathize with many of these last minute changes....We need uranium for ww3, its our right as americans to carry firearms (anywhere, and everywhere!), America is VERY sue happy - disallowing much of it will decrease OUR cost..Remember, sometimes its necessary to look at the whole rather than just its parts...although, the parts are what make up the whole. (IE, Building highways thus forcing people to sell their land), The 'endangered species act' has hindered more then helped (Im all for saving them, but if we worship them - there is a problem). Birth control is overly spread - its a proven fact that when abstinance before birth control is promoted, less side effects happen (abstinence is 99.9999% effective). The president is in control of the Executive branch...if he wants to make it so there is more unity between local and federal, whats the problem? I see a double standard - you want regulation, yet when it comes to police - you want deregulation and deunity...?

I dont bring to question the 'shoe', rather I bring to question the symbolism and questions behind it...Such as, how was this person able to get so close to our president? This is truly the ultimate sign of disrespect towards our President of the United States of America. I do not find it funny, I find it disrespectful. On the other hand, it shows how much progress has been done in Iraq. It is through freedom that this man was able to throw the shoe, and it is through democracy that he will be tried for his actions. I applaud Bush for his patience, however.

If the government cant control their power - get rid of the power, so you can get rid of the government. How do you think our founding fathers did it? Here, let me explain my actions. My main reason for his removal has little to do with his move to the non-ssc biller. Here is my post on the MGB Forums, since I doubt many of you'd read it: As far as the non-ssc biller goes, infact I heavily encourage a non-ssc wide biller and would be more then willing to support it (financially and else wise). This decision was not made without precise thought, I considered very heavily whether I should do this or not - and I believe that I have made the right choice (for the moment). Those of you that know me, know that something like this is never made with little thought. Regards.

I'd have them give you a list of EXACTLY what they want done, in writing, and state in the contract that that is what you are required to do - period. However, you must understand - that if you need a new roof..you're !@#$%^&*ed - as that will easily land you $50,000 or more, and even if you can 'get a deal', you're still !@#$%^&*ed - because unless they do it for free, even just the cost of Parts + Labor would be more then you could afford. Siding - $10,000 Roof - $50,000 Windows - $250x how many windows AC Units - $50/piece Heating Units - $25/piece Fridge - $500 Electricity - $200/month The list goes on....Is this something you can really afford?

Lemme tell you a story: A while back, here in Kansas - it was put up to a vote. The question was: Can we build a nuclear power plant? They fed us that "It will drastically decrease your power bill"/etc. Well, instead of DECREASING, in many ways it probably increased our cost via taxes. Why did it do that? Because instead of them using the power to supply Kansas houses with power - AS was supposed to happen - they started selling the power to Texas! This is why im against building nuclear power plants - because the greedy sons of !@#$%^&*es will do anything to make money. And, if they are this stingy + greedy - whats to say that they wont put US at risk?
