Id have no problem with it if they were convicted but collecting when they are accused is a !@#$%^&*ing joke. People in california just read what is on the ballot and never the actual proposition. Then prop 71, the idea is to fund stem cell research but reading into the proposition it proposes to fund more than that. Not only does it use bond money (telling you that the state doesnt want to pay for it right now, but later they want to pay it w/ intrest) but they are going to setup a government agency which will be the only en-*BAD WORD*-y that will be allowed to conduct research. After than these clowns are going to hire ethics buerecrats to decide what is ethical and what is not in the world of stem-cells. Then it bans human cloning in california, I guess to appease religious ASSS. So pretty much billions of dollers are going to a team of people that the government hires to !@#$%^&* around all day about the ethics of the research they wont be conducting. A better plan would have to setup a fund that donates money to corporations that are already researching the technology instead of setting up a stem-cell-castle for bull!@#$%^&*. I want to see embro, umbilical cord, and every other type of stem cell being used without any regulations, then maybe these docters can do thier job and bust out some cures. Pretty much the moral is that religion needs to get off california's nuts and people need to get more than a high school education. Its pointless to keep track of the votes, just wait until the end. California alone has 55 electorial votes. Plus electorates dont have to vote for thier canidate, the point of the system is to allow them to select whoever they want (although its unlikely that they will excercise this privlage).
