Hey guys, its been a while since my last post and I found out someone closed my topic Anyways, I've been doing just fine over here. I graduated to Grey belt for MCMAP (Marine Corps Martial Arts Program) and am now training for my green belt. Lately the weather has been crazy. The day before yesterday we had a nice sandstorm, making it hard to see more than 40ft in front of you. Now its been basically thunderstorm weather since then. It was insane seeing 150+ Marines frantically grabbing the gear they had staged outside and run into the SWA hut during a sudden downpour. XD Amything new in HS? Haven't been in there in ages. Thanks for replying guys and gals. Heh, I wish I could pilot a real aircraft out here. Show these guys how to really fly a jet <_< Not much else new to report, other than a crazy thunder/sand storm. It was so dusty, that I couldn't see more than 5 feet ahead and everything was orangish from all the sand. Then it rained a little while being windy, that was weird. I'm trying to get this computer to accept Java so I can use chatnut on it (Can't install programs and whatnot on this govvy comp) so I might be able to get in touch with you guys at a decent hour, not like 4am (PST) when I get off shift.. Thanks for posting lady and gents Yes, I am a Marine, deployed to Iraq. I can't exactly say where I am or what I'm doing, being the nature of my job here and OPSEC says no. I can tell you that I usually work logistics with helicopters and planes. Not too crazy of a job, but you really need to care about the little things, because those can mess up schedules and whatnot. nike: I'm temperarily in a place away from where I'm supposed to be stationed, so I don't want to send you my address and have it come too late. Ha, spider rusher. With that ship being so large and hard to control (low thrust and rotation), I doubt it would be as great of a rusher as you hope it to be I agree that something needs to be done about the shark. Lowering recharge would be one of the more favorable 'nerfs' I would propose. Perhaps less thrust/speed ? Either way, with stats that high and a profile that small, lacking signature items is not a concern for this ship.

Not enough to keep a lanc staying in a game. Asteroid's idea is LOL.

What I have noticed, is that a lanc is a basing attach ship and cannot score kills without putting itself in danger or dying. Being a lanc means you will not get as much money as your team and will basically be stuck behind lines all day. This leads to people not wanting to lanc or even buying one in the first place. As a result we end up with less lancs to keep flag games going (ever notice when a defense is taken over, a lanc usually goes afk or specs, basically killing the flag game) I propose that lancs receive a bonus to shared kill money as an incentive to keep lancs in the game. Nothing big, maybe a 10-25% bonus. Other ideas like giving timed bonuses would be easily exploited, I believe this way would be the best at this point of time.

About all of your allegations of a moderator 'moving people to one freq'. I can say that there was no such thing from my end. I know that players might think 'oh no, we're getting handled! it must be the MODS fault!' kind of thinking going on, but I can !@#$%^&*ure that I did not switch anybody over from that game.

Having a $ kill and shared kill $ toggle would be nice for heavy basing action, where lots of kills happen in a short amount of time.

The balancing issue is an ongoing process. None of the previous sets we've used were perfect from the get-go. With a dynamic zone that is Hyperspace, people should expect new and greater things to come as time goes on. I mean, it's only been like what, 10 days since these new settings have been put in? No need to be shouting bloody murder on a fresh set so early

With HyperSpace's current population, the amount of Thor spam seems to be ever increasing and excessive in base. With possibly 20 different players on a frequency and a majority of them spawning and launching thors every death, it can easily be a thor fest. What I'm saying is that the core of HS flagging shouldn't be so greatly impacted from one item. Reduce thors to 1 for Siege pack and we will see less people suiciding for items. Suggestions are always open.
