Kewlair had to focus on work and such. shardz was pretty much inactive and didn't do much. mijellin and cardsharp (sysops) were absolutely useless and didn't do anything, more so CardSharp. It was basically all about getting name recognition for Card and mij. Let's see... then there's the "dev team", or lack thereof (d-anus, b-!@#$%^&*man, etc). A few people were hired and then didn't do anything. wiredfreak made a lot of promises and then didn't deliver and he eventually left. It seems like there hadn't been a new event for at least a year. Fox-1 came along and started working on some stuff and created a base duel arena and a bot for the event. He worked on the credit system. That's about it... Now there's the matter of RSDL. It was pawned off several times. No Chance was the last person to take charge of RSDL. Can you guess what happened? He quit showing up in RedStar. Now he's in charge of the duel league in Fusion. lawl There's the matter of the some staffers not wanting to host. Also, the settings were played with a few times in an attempt to balance game play. These adjustments proved to be unsuccessful. Fusion came along and the RedStar staff didn’t seem to see it as much of a threat. Now most former RedStar players play in Fusion. There's probably a lot more to it but this is all from a player’s point of view. The zone was a lot of fun a year and a half ago. Meh
